Damage Guide for the Whiteflame Torrent Skill in MH Wilds

Here's a tips explaining the Zoh Shia weapon skill added in Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1. There's been a lot of wrong data spreading and this could clear the confusion! It comes from Shincry.

Whenever you hit a monster, there's a chance you do extra damage. This damage is fixed (50)

The chance will increase whenever the skill doesn't proc and will reset back to 33% when it procs

33% >50% >100%

Whenever you hit, it goes into a 3s cooldown, doesn't matter if the skill has proc or not, skill won't activate during that duration

Certain attacks won't activate the skill, for example any shield bash from SNS

Scorcher II

Having the scorcher set instead provides with a fixed damage + additional damage depending on the monster elemental hitzones, formula would be:

Scorcher I + Whiteflame -> (2 + (element hitzone / 100)) × 30

Scorcher II + Whiteflame -> (2 + (2 × (element hitzone/100))) × 40
