Crown Size
Nu Udra (The Black Flame) is an apex monster situated in the Oil Well Basin. This particluar monster fought during the inclemency period, and any hunter that dares take on the challenge must ensure that they are thoroughly skilled and fully prepared to capture this monster. This creature can set itself on fire as well as execute powerful elemental assaults, which makes him “claim” patience, acuracy, strategy and a lot of tactical planning.

| Tentacle Slam | Raises body and slams tentacles on the ground. | Watch for blue lights on tentacles to predict the slam and dodge accordingly. |
| Quad Tentacle Pincer Attack | Winds up four tentacles to slam at a focal point. | Use Slinger ammo to break free or button mash if caught. |
| Dash Attack | Moves back, roars, and leaps toward you. | Dodge to the side or roll away from its trajectory. |
| Flamethrower | Reveals an oil cannon and releases a powerful flame attack. | Evade to the side immediately to avoid damage and Fireblight. |
| Spin Attack | Twists into a corkscrew motion, hitting all nearby hunters. | Maintain distance when you see it twisting its body. |
| Mouth Lash | Strikes with its mouth tentacles if you're too close for too long. | Avoid staying near its mouth for extended periods. |
| Fiery Rock Bombs | Throws one or two fiery bombs, sometimes combined with tentacle slams during enraged mode. | Watch for its throwing animation and move away from the impact zones. |
| Devastating Scream + Bomb Barrage | Screams, spins, and hurls bombs across the battlefield, causing massive damage and Fireblight. | Recognize the scream and animation (ringing in place) to prepare for evasion. |

In enraged mode, Nu Udra has an immense attack power that adds new mechanics while engulfing it in fames:
Notes: After executing one of his most powerful attacks (Scream + Bomb Barrage), Nu Udra will lose fire empowerment for a brief period.
