Catch Lightning in Bottles

• Travel: Select the Lightning Dimension on your task board, if available, or enter through its portal.
• Collect: Pick up empty bottles inside the dimension.
• Watch: Find a yellow ground circle marking an incoming strike.
• Place: Drop bottles inside the circle before lightning lands.
• Retrieve: Pick up charged bottles promptly.

Pro tip: Group bottles near you for a chance to charge several in one strike; holding a bottle in the circle also exposes your character to lightning.

Exchange Bottles and Use Bait

• Exchange: Take charged bottles to the bait exchange near Bore; check the displayed cost and quantity before confirming.
• Budget: The update price is three charged bottles per exchange, so plan for six to buy both bait types.
• Place: Put your chosen bait in a Pet Pen lure.
• Claim: Wait two hours, then collect the reward.

Pro tip: If you have two usable lures, place different baits in them to pursue both exclusive pets at once.

Can one bait get all four lightning pets?

No. Haetyphoon and Flash Weasel require different baits; Thunderfisher and Electric Hornet appear in both.

How many bottles does each bait exchange cost?

Each exchange costs three charged bottles at the update price. Check the current exchange screen before confirming.

How long does a lightning bait lure take?

The lure takes two hours. Check its timer after placing bait.

Is a pet guaranteed from lightning bait?

No. A lure also awards Bucks, stickers, and other items.

Is unlimited free bait still available?

The Lightning Dimension update removed the old unlimited free bait. Collect charged bottles to exchange for the new baits.
