Before you plant any seeds, we need to secure some cash. Starting with zero dollars is a grind we can all agree nobody wants to do. Fortunately, the developers have left some free cash and item codes.

Why this is important.

Especially in the early game, money snowballs.

The faster you can buy a large amount of seeds in later stages, the faster you'll reach a million Shillings.

The Dawn Fruit Seed is likely to become a rare legacy item, so even if you do not plan on planting it now, be sure to claim it. If the code shows as Invalid, you may need to log out and try again after joining the group.

↖ The most important rule of the game

A common mistake beginners make is to harvest as soon as they can, which means they leave a lot of money behind.

When a plant can be harvested, it is only in a Ripe state. If you instead wait longer, the plant will go into a Lush state.

↖ The Lush State

There is no additional cost when it comes to waiting for the next state. The only thing you lose is time, and the gain is a higher profit margin which is always worth it.

The Strategy:

The goal is to have as many crops as possible reach the Lush state. The longer the crop is grown, the higher the chance of snow, fog, or other weather events that may trigger the crop to grow faster, giving you extra multipliers.

↖ Strategic Planting: Layouts and Banking

You should not treat every seed in your inventory the same. Different crops have different lifecycles, and strategies should be adapted to fit these different lifecycles.

↖ 1. Single-Use Crops (Carrots, Beetroots, Onions)

Once you harvest these crops, that seed is gone. This means that you will have to purchase new seeds to plant them again—so do not harvest these crops until you have no other choice.

The Bank Method: Treat these crops like a savings account. Do not harvest them unless you absolutely need the money for a specific purchase.

Why? Keeping crops in the ground lets their plants survive multiple weather changes, increasing the chances of rare changes like Shocked or Silver.

↖ 2. Re-Harvestable Crops (like Corn or Tomatoes)

These crops stay in the field, making them a solid choice for a regular revenue stream.

Clumping Method Don't scatter your crops. Instead, try to bunch them all together. If you harvest like 100 corn at once you get a lot of corn in like 2 seconds. Super quick.

Important Note: If your garden is messy, don't remove plants yet. Developers are working on a Trowel Tool which lets you move your crops. If you remove a nice crop that you want to move, you are losing a lot of money.

↖ The Millionaire Loop: Cherry Seeds & Macros

After you reach the end of the corn and carrot cycle, your goal should be to get to Cherry Seeds.

• Cost: 1 million
• Time to Grow: 2-3 Hours
• Sell Price: ~44k per Fruit (Lush status)

Sure, 1 million seems like a lot of money, but it's a good investment. One cherry tree will pay for a lot of future trees. But how do you get the seeds for that?

↖ The Macro Shop Method

Buying seeds one by one will take way too long. Think of it as a glorified auto clicker!

How to set it up:

• 1. Start your macro program.
• 2. Set it to Continuous Loop
• 3. Click record, and buy every item. Then scroll down and buy everything.
• 4. Leave it to run for one night.

Why do this?

The seed shop resets every 5 minutes. Without being there, you can buy every rare seed (Ex. Roses) This shop is the best way to get inventory items without spending any money.

↖ The Trap: Quests vs. Buying Packs

We want to be clear: Do not purchase Seed Packs using your Robux.

We conducted an experiment where we spent over 1,300 Robux on the 'Dawn Seed Packs' and 'Gardener Seed Packs.' What did we get? A ton of common seeds like Sun Petals. This was completely pointless.

A Better Option:

Instead, use the Quest Board (Press 'E' on the board next to spawn).

• Daily Quests: Give you a little bit of money.
• Weekly Quests: Give you a lot of money. For example, one of the quests says Earn 800,000 Shillings, and you get 4 Free Dawn Seed Packs.

If you just play the game you can get the same premium packs for free when you get quests like Plant 6 Strawberries.

↖ Gear, Boosts, and Secrets

In order to get the most out of your game experience, you have to use the right gear and hidden features.

↖ Sprinkler Stacking

Just like in its spiritual predecessor Grow a Garden, in Garden Horizons, sprinklers stack.

• Super Sprinkler ($100k): This massive increases growth speed and fruit size by a lot.
• Turbo & Basic Sprinklers: These add to the effect.

Tip: If you have the money, put all three of these types around your Cherry Trees to cut the time from 3 hours to almost nothing.

↖ The Friend Boost (The 25% Rule)

Try your best to never sell alone.

• The Math: You get a 5% money boost for each friend in the server.
• The Cap: You can get a total boost of 25%.
• The Play: Before you do a big harvest, join a free private server with your friends. If you do a harvest worth a million dollars, 25% is huge.

↖ Quality of Life Tips

1. Plot Selection: If you are the type to claim biomes and enjoy walking, claim Plot #3. That plot is the closest to the store.

2. Exact Money Count: If you hover over the money counter, you can see the money in a more precise format. Instead of 12.1k you will see 12,106

3. The Fountain Secret: Jumping into the spawn fountain will secretly give you a badge after a fountain throws you up.

Q: Is it possible to trade seeds/money with other players?

A: No. In order to encourage players to earn every bit of money on their own, trading and stealing are turned off. You can't trade with other players.

Q: I am lagging really bad, especially with a full farm. What can I do about it?

A: Go to your settings and turn on Low Detail Mode. It removes advanced graphics and should boost your frame rate big time with plants on your farm.

Q: I want to get new daily and weekly quest, what can I do?

A: You can even get new daily and weekly quests, but there is a fee. Daily quests cost 50,000 shillings and weekly quest cost 350,000 shillings. It is a big amount of shillings, but if you really need it go for it.
