The Yutyrannus, or Yuty, is the boss army commander in ARK Survival Ascended.
You bring it for one reason: Courage Roar.
That roar gives nearby allies +25% damage and 20% damage reduction. In boss fights, that is not optional. That is the difference between a clean clear and watching your Rex line disappear.

Yuty torpor drain is manageable. The dangerous part is getting it trapped without its escorts deleting you.
1. Find Yuty near snow or mountain edges.
Avoid deep chaos zones if possible.
2. Kill the Carnos first.
They are often buffed. They hit harder than expected.
3. Clear wolves and small predators.
They ruin clean knockouts.
4. Build the trap before pulling.
Do not build under roar pressure.
5. Lure Yuty in and seal it.
Gateways or walls work well.
6. Tranq from safety.
Bring 25–50% extra tranqs.
