Blox Fruits Meta Forging Twin Hooks Build for Insane PvP Damage

Some time ago, we managed to break the meta with a Triple Dark Blade (TTK) build that absolutely melted opponents. But in Blox Fruits, resting on your laurels isn't going to get you a win. We needed something fresh and something that was, at the time, overlooked. Enter Twin Hooks.

Blox Fruits Meta Forging Twin Hooks Build for Insane PvP Damage

Most players dismiss these weapons. It's a sword dropped by Captain Elephant, and to be honest, it's one of the very few weapons that is based on a fruit (Mammoth) that no one really mains anymore. But here is the thing, if you look past the popularity contest the Twin Hooks have some shockingly high damage numbers.

We aren't just going to put a sword on and hope for the best. We are going to scientifically craft a masterpiece. The objective is to see if we can take a so called, mid-tier weapon and enchant it to become a god-tier slayer.

The Raw Numbers: Damage Analysis

Before we started rolling for enchantments, we needed a baseline. We took the Twin Hooks to the testing grounds to see what we had to work with. The results were rather shocking, especially the cooldowns.

Sky Cyclone (Z Move) is the standout here. It has a shockingly short cooldown so if you time your stuns correctly, you can potentially land this move twice in one extended combo.

Based on the tests conducted the following table summarizes the results:

Move Base Damage (No Buffs) Buffed Damage (Trinkets + Enchants) Notes
M1 Click 2,7003,100+ Swing speed is fast.
Sky Cyclone (Z) 4,3005,000+ Main source of DPS, very low cooldown.
Prehistoric Punt (X) 4,4595,100+ Great combo starter. Fling enemies up.

Note: Damage numbers are rounded, but the scaling percentage is consistent.

The RNG Grind: Enchantments and Trinkets

This is the stage of the game when the Meta starts to become refined and wallets may become thin. A sword is only as good as the jewelry you wear.

The Trinket Plan

We shot for Mythical Rings and the Outlaw or Twin Blades variants. Why these? They provide the best stat ceilings for sword mains. Obtaing the ring was only half of it; The real grind was concerning the little attributes.

To maximize damage, we were looking for the following attributes:

1. Executioner: Deals additional damage to opponents who are low on health. (Very important for finishing off combos.)

2. Sharp: Adds a flat value to sword damage.

Our Rolling Journey

We invested lots of Simulation Data Points and resources to fuse rings for Grade 2 Twin Blades. We experienced the classic so close yet so far moment, rolling Sanguine or Beast Slayer when we needed Executioner the most.

Eventually and after a huge expense (and maybe a rage-buying Robux moment), we acquired a setup with Sharp and Executioner. This alone boosted our ability damage approx. 600-700 points per hit.

The Forgemaster's Blessing

We proceeded to the Port Town Forgemaster. If you want to compete in the top tier of the current meta, a standard sword won't cut it. We needed a Blessing.

We went through more than 30 scrolls. Storm,Agile, and Deadly rolled constantly. Then our luck hit on a high tier scroll: Blessing: Sharpshooter (Rare)

Stats: +13% Damage, Piercing

This was the last piece of the puzzle. The Sharpshooter Blessing made our attacks ignore more of the enemy's defense, invaluable against the Shiva users or the tanky Dragon builds.

The PvP Strategy: Portal + Twin Hooks

Now that we possess the damage, how can we use it? Twin Hooks have one big disadvantage: Range.

To counter this, we used Portal Fruit. Portal provides the mobility that the Twin Hooks don't have. A fruit isn't necessary for damage; it is necessary for closing the distance.

The One-shot Combo

We found an efficient pattern that utilizes the stun from the X move.

1. Engage: Portal Dash (World Warp or simple dash) to get right on top of the opponent.

2. The Fling: Hit them with Prehistoric Punt (X). This move sends the opponent flying upward.

3. The Catch: Immediately follow up with Sky Cyclone (Z). This move has a vertical hitbox, so it catches them in the air.

4. The Finisher: Switch to Godhuman or your Fighting Style to hit them as they fall, or if your cooldown is fast enough (thanks to Human V4), cycle back to Z.

Managing the Chaos (Second Sea Reality)

We took this build to bounty hunting in the Second Sea. Why Second Sea? Because the Third Sea is a ghost town or has a lot of runners. But don't get me wrong; the Second Sea is a warzone.During testing, we encountered several points of lag, and of course, teamers.

If you miss the X move: You become susceptible. With the Twin Hooks, you are briefly locked in an animation.

If you hit: Usually, you ni the game. We deleted a Sound user and a V4 awakened player because they couldn't escape the stun-lock of the Prehistoric Punt.

We also used Human V4. The damage limit break and flash step are imperative. When you pop V4, the Twin Hooks become stronger to unfair. We were able to 1v2 a team because of the deceptively large AoE of Sky Cyclone, which also hits third-party attackers.

FAQ

Q: Can I use this build without the Mythical Trinkets?

A: Yes, but you will not achieve the one-shot potential. The basic damage is appreciable (~ 4.3k damage), but the range 15-20% damage increase due to the Sharp/Executioner trinkets is the deciding factor in placing this build in the meta.

Q: Why use Portal instead of Rumble?

A: Rumble is great for stunning enemies, but Twin Hooks already has a stun or fling mechanic. What Twin Hooks doesn't have is an instant positional shift. Portal helps you to perfectly position to where the enemy will land after you fling them.

Q: How much Simulation Data do I need for this build?

A: Be ready to spend. Being able to roll for Mythical modifiers will cost you at least 5,000+ Simulation Data. This is assuming you don't get super lucky.

Summary

Forging the ultimate Twin Hooks build is not for the faint of heart. It requires heavy investments to reroll trinkets for Executioner and Sharp, and to get a sword blessing for Sharpshooter or Burning.

However, the payoff is loaded. The burst, low-cooldown nature of the Twin Hooks paired with the mobility of Portal and the raw Human V4 power allows an build to delete enemies mid-air. It transmutes a forgotten mammoth sword into a top-tier PvP threat. If you are tired of the standard CDK/Shark Anchor meta, this is the build to craft.
