Farming with Bandit Camps

Copper coins are one of the most sought-after resources in the game and, bandit camps rank high on the list for farming. Each camp comes with its fair share of NPCs that can be killed for their precious copper coins. Interestingly enough, there is relatively equal yield in both low and high-level bandit camps making lower-level camps a perfect go-to for effortless farming.

Equipment and Preparation

Ensure that you are properly prepared for combat before embarking on your farming session. Although high-tier gear is not a requirement, steel equipment serves as a very good middle ground in terms of both durability and efficiency. For one-handed sword users combat will be far easier to manage due to swords staggering enemies in mid-swing. If you are using polearms or broad axes, it might be more effective to fight on horseback to avoid interruptions from enemy attacks.

If you are operating on a smaller level or have lower tiered proficiencies, building a small outpost with a bedroll placed nearby for respawning for death may be a good idea.

Farming within this vicinity grants you other coveted items alongside copper coins:

Skill Efficiency Consumables: These items fast track skills by providing experience towards a given proficiency.

Treasure Keys And Maps: These grant access to rewards of value that may be hidden with treasure hunting.

Rare Loot: Enemies stand the chance of dropping valuable items that can help further progress your character.

For those of you with NPC companions fitted with the corpse robber trait, the NPCs will automatically collect the loot making this process more efficient.

Notes for PvP Servers

Although PvP servers offer better rewards, they are much more dangerous. Farming spots may get contested and other players might try to ambush you mid-session. That said, this provides a chance for PvP action. Not only does defeating other players ensure your farming spot, but you can also gain access to their loot if they have collected anything.
