Iron Soul Dungeon Glory Wheel Crafting Guide: Staff, Yokozuna & Stardust Armor

Most players dump a full stack of Mythical ore into the forge every single time. That's the fastest way to run dry.

The forge doesn't need 100% Mythical ore to spit out a Mythical item. It reads majority rarity. Feed it more Mythical than anything else, and Mythical stays the likely outcome — even with Legendary filler mixed in.

Iron Soul Dungeon Glory Wheel Crafting Guide: Staff, Yokozuna & Stardust Armor

This guide gives you the exact ratios we've tested for the Glory Wheel Staff, Yokozuna, Stardust Wizard Headpiece, and Mage Chest Piece, plus what actually moves the needle versus what's a waste of your inventory.

The Forge % Isn't What You Think It Is

That displayed number — say 72% for the Staff — is the chance the recipe shows up in the pool. It is not the chance you walk away with that exact item.

There are other items in that same pool. Real pull rate on the specific Glory Wheel piece lands closer to 15–20%, even when the icon flashes.

Translation: budget for multiple attempts. One craft will not save you.

Ore Ratios That Work (Quick Reference)

ItemOre CountDisplayed ChanceRatio
Glory Wheel Staff 10 72% 6 Mythical + 4 Legendary
Yokozuna 16 74% 9 Mythical + 7 Legendary
Stardust Wizard Headpiece 15 80% 8 Mythical + 7 Legendary
Mage Chest Piece 15 80% 8 Mythical + 7 Legendary

Rule of thumb: keep Mythical ahead by at least one ore. Even splits (8/8) are risky — the forge can tip Legendary.

Glory Wheel Staff

10 ores. 6 Mythical + 4 Legendary. That's the setup.

Mythical stays majority, item still crafts Mythical, and you just banked 4 Mythical ores per attempt.

Damage note: the Staff scales at a fixed 120% of your best weapon, no cap known. Ore level does nothing to that number. Don't waste your top-tier Mythical ores here — a low-level Mythical works identically for scaling purposes. Sub-stats are still RNG regardless.

Yokozuna

16 ores. 9 Mythical + 7 Legendary.

SetupRisk
16 Mythical Safest, most expensive
9 Mythical + 7 Legendary Best balance — recommended
8/8 split Legendary risk creeps in
7 Mythical + 9 Legendary Skip it, Legendary favored

That 9/7 mix saves 7 Mythical ores compared to going full Mythical. Multiply that across attempts and you'll notice.

Stardust Wizard Headpiece

15 ores. 8 Mythical + 7 Legendary. 80% displayed chance — the best odds on this list.

Short on Legendary too? This works as a backup:

Ore TypeAmount
Mythical 8
Legendary 4
Epic 3

Messier, but Mythical still leads the pack. Fine when your stash is thin.

If the forge spits out a different item, don't touch the ratio. That's RNG doing its thing, not a bad recipe.

Mage Chest Piece

Same math as the Headpiece: 15 ores, 8 Mythical + 7 Legendary, ~80% chance.

Crafting both the Headpiece and Chest Piece in one session? Plan your Mythical count before you start. It's brutally easy to blow the whole stash on item one and stall on item two.

Hell Ores Are Dead Weight Here

Save your Hell-tier ores. They don't work for any Glory Wheel craft.

ItemHell Version?Use Hell Ore?
Glory Wheel Staff No No
Yokozuna No No
Stardust Wizard Headpiece No No
Mage Chest Piece No No

No hidden bonus, no Hell-tier variant. Throw them at recipes that actually consume them.

Mistakes That Burn Your Stockpile

MistakeConsequenceFix
Full Mythical every attempt Empties your reserve fast Majority Mythical + filler
Even Mythical/Legendary split Risks a Legendary result Keep Mythical ahead by 1+
Using high-level ore for Staff Wasted, scaling is fixed Use low-level Mythical instead
Feeding Hell ores No effect at all Save for other systems
Expecting one-shot success Guaranteed disappointment Farm for 3+ attempts

How Much to Farm Before You Craft

GoalAttempts to Plan ForMythical ReserveFiller Reserve
Staff 3 18 12
Yokozuna 3 27 21
Headpiece 3 24 21
Chest Piece 3 24 21
Full set 3 each 93 75

Not a hard requirement — just the realistic buffer. Glory Wheel RNG doesn't care about your feelings.

FAQ

Is the Glory Wheel Staff guaranteed once the recipe icon shows up?

No. The icon means it's in the pool, not that it's yours. Real pull rate on the specific item runs closer to 15–20%, even at a 72% displayed chance.

What's the exact ore setup for the Staff, Yokozuna, Headpiece, and Chest Piece?

Staff: 6 Mythical + 4 Legendary (10 total). Yokozuna: 9 Mythical + 7 Legendary (16 total). Headpiece and Chest Piece: 8 Mythical + 7 Legendary (15 total) each.

Can lower-rarity ores replace Legendary as filler?

Yes — Epic or Rare works fine as filler. Just keep Mythical as the largest single group in the mix, or your result rarity slips.

Does ore level change the Glory Wheel Staff's damage?

No. Scaling is fixed at 120% of your best weapon. Save your high-level Mythical ores for gear that actually benefits from them.

Can Hell ores make a Hell version of Glory Wheel gear?

No. None of the four items — Staff, Yokozuna, Headpiece, Chest Piece — support a Hell-tier variant. Hell ores here are wasted materials.

Bottom Line

ItemOre CountBest Mix
Glory Wheel Staff 10 6 Mythical + 4 Legendary
Yokozuna 16 9 Mythical + 7 Legendary
Stardust Wizard Headpiece 15 8 Mythical + 7 Legendary
Mage Chest Piece 15 8 Mythical + 7 Legendary

Never dump a full Mythical batch unless you're swimming in ore. The item isn't guaranteed anyway — smarter ratios buy you more attempts, and more attempts is the only real edge you have against this forge.
