Iron Soul Dungeon Glory Wheel Staff, Yokozuna & Stardust Armor Crafting Guide

Glory Wheel gear eats ores fast. This guide skips the fluff and gives you the exact ore ratios that keep your final item Mythical without dumping your entire ore bank into one gamble.

Iron Soul Dungeon Glory Wheel Staff, Yokozuna & Stardust Armor Crafting Guide

Bottom line: you don't need 100% Mythical ores to get a Mythical result. You need Mythical majority. That's it.

How the Forge Actually Decides Rarity

The forge reads majority rarity among the ores you feed it. Whatever rarity dominates the mix, that's what the output leans toward — assuming the craft succeeds at all.

6 Mythical + 4 Legendary for a 10-ore recipe? Comes out Mythical.

5 Mythical + 5 Legendary? Coin flip. Don't do this.

Keep Mythical ahead by at least 1-2 pieces. Even splits are how you waste good ore.

Glory Wheel Staff — 10 Ores

Recipe activation: ~72% at 10 ores.

Real success rate: feels closer to 15-20% per attempt even when the icon lights up.

Goal Ore Count Mix
Efficient Mythical 106 Mythical + 4 Legendary
Budget 10 6 Mythical + 2 Legendary + 2 Epic/Rare
Avoid 10 5 Mythical + 5 Legendary

Ore level doesn't matter here. Staff damage scales at 120% of your best weapon, no cap listed. Dump your oldest low-level Mythical ores into this craft — they work exactly the same as fresh ones.

Yokozuna — 16 Ores

Recipe activation: ~74% at 16 ores.

Efficient setup:9 Mythical + 7 Legendary

Safer buffer: 10 Mythical + 6 Legendary (costs 1 extra Mythical, cleaner margin)

Avoid 8/8 — same problem as the staff's 5/5 trap. No reliable Mythical lean.

Stardust Headpiece & Mage Chest Piece — 15 Ores Each

Same logic, same numbers for both pieces.

Recipe activation: ~80% at 15 ores.

Efficient mix:8 Mythical + 7 Legendary

Priority Adjustment
Minimum Mythical spend 8 Mythical + 7 Legendary
Safer control 9 Mythical + 6 Legendary
Ore-rich 10 Mythical + 5 lower rarity

Armor is stat-sensitive. Getting the item is one RNG roll. Getting good sub-stats is another. Budget for multiple crafts — a Mythical piece with garbage rolls isn't a finished piece.

Skip Hell Ores. Completely.

Hell ores do not produce Hell versions of the Staff, Yokozuna, or either Stardust armor piece. None of them.

Feeding Hell ore into these recipes is just burning your rarest material for nothing. Use Mythical, Legendary, Epic, or Rare instead.

Cheat Sheet

Item Ores Best Mix Recipe Chance
Glory Wheel Staff 10 6M + 4L ~72%
Yokozuna 16 9M + 7L ~74%
Stardust Headpiece 15 8M + 7L ~80%
Mage Chest Piece 15 8M + 7L ~80%

Mistakes That Cost You Ore

All-Mythical crafting. Works, but if it fails or misfires, you just torched full-value ore for nothing.

50/50 splits. Inconsistent Mythical output. Keep the majority stacked.

Confusing recipe % with drop rate. 80% recipe chance ≠ 80% item chance. It just means the forge recognized the recipe condition — the actual roll is separate.

Hell ores in these recipes. Dead end. Save them for crafts that actually use them.

Ignoring sub-stats. A Mythical drop with weak rolls still isn't your endgame piece.

Sample Farming Target (5 Staff Attempts)

Material Amount
Mythical ores 30
Legendary ores 20
Total50

Compare that to 50 Mythical ores for the same five attempts using an all-Mythical strategy. The mix method wins every time.

FAQ

What's the best ore mix for the Glory Wheel Staff?

6 Mythical + 4 Legendary (10 ores total). Keeps Mythical majority, saves 4 Mythical ore per attempt versus going full Mythical.

Does the recipe icon appearing guarantee the item?

No. It just confirms the forge recognized the recipe condition. Real staff success feels closer to 15-20% even at ~72% recipe activation.

What's the setup for Yokozuna?

9 Mythical + 7 Legendary at 16 ores. Want a safer buffer? Go 10 Mythical + 6 Legendary.

Do Hell ores work for any of these crafts?

No. Hell ores don't produce Hell variants of the Staff, Yokozuna, or Stardust armor pieces. Don't waste them here.

Does ore level affect Staff damage?

No. Staff scaling is fixed at 120% of your best weapon. Low-level Mythical ores perform identically to high-level ones for this craft.

Summary

Control the majority, not the whole pool.

Item Setup
Glory Wheel Staff 6 Mythical + 4 Legendary
Yokozuna 9 Mythical + 7 Legendary
Stardust Headpiece 8 Mythical + 7 Legendary
Mage Chest Piece 8 Mythical + 7 Legendary

Stack Mythical ahead, skip Hell ores, and prep for repeat attempts. That's the whole game.
