↖ Why is the Golden Blitz event worth preparing for?
1. The only window for trading rare Gold Stickers
In regular gameplay, Gold Stickers cannot be traded directly. The Golden Blitz event breaks this restriction, allowing you to trade duplicate Gold Stickers for rare Stickers you're missing. This is especially true for Black Forest Cake and Big Blue Cheese, as they are located in the middle and back sections of the Pokédex, making them difficult to obtain. If you miss this event, you might not be able to obtain these Stickers in the future, even if you're willing to pay a high price.
2. The Best Opportunity to Complete the Pokémon Collection
Completing the Pokémon Collection not only earns generous rewards but also enhances your sense of accomplishment. Past player experience shows that the Golden Lightning Event is the best time to complete a Pokémon Collection set. For example, during the first two events, one player successfully exchanged three duplicate gold Stickers and several high-star common Stickers for the last missing card, triggering the full set reward.
3. Maximizing Resource Utilization
The Golden Lightning Event is essentially about "resource redistribution." Duplicate gold Stickers are worthless during normal times, but during this event, they become leverage for obtaining rare Stickers. It's like a timed auction. The earlier you prepare, the more likely you are to obtain the resources you need most at the lowest cost.
↖ How to Minimize Cost and Maximize Rewards?
Phase 1: Preparation (Before the Event Starts)
Inventory Check
- Open your Pokémon Collection and check all 5-star gold Stickers, marking any duplicates and noting any missing Stickers. Prioritize as follows:
- First, complete the highest-rewarding atlas (e.g., a set with a large reward of gold, dice, or rare items).
- High-rarity Stickers (gold Stickers in the middle and later stages are often harder to obtain).
- Personal favorite Stickers (if you don't have a specific need, you can trade for Stickers you might need in the future).
Target trading partners
Contact friends in advance and establish a small trading group:
- Group A: Core trading partners (trusted friends who prioritize trading for rare Stickers).
- Group B: Regular trading partners (duplicate Stickers can be traded for common needs).
- Group C: Strangers (experiment with free card opportunities later in the event).
Set a price anchor
In the early stages of the event, it's recommended to base the offer on 1 gold card for 1 gold card of the same star rating. If the target card is scarce, increase the price appropriately, for example, 1 gold card + 1 high-star regular card.
Phase II: Execution (during the event)
- The first hour after the event begins
- This is the peak trading demand period. You can:
- Prioritize exchanging duplicate gold Stickers for scarce Stickers to fill critical gaps in the Pokémon Dash.
If demand is high, you can increase your appeal by offering a 1 gold card + 1 regular card combination.
Mid-Term (Midway Through the Event)
If you haven't successfully exchanged for your desired card in the early stages, you can try adjusting your strategy:
Increase your bid: for example, 2 regular Stickers + 1 gold card.
Expand your trading pool: Contact more friends and join new trading groups.
Last 2 Hours
During this period, market supply increases, and some players may be willing to give away their excess Stickers for free.
You can:
Post a free request, specifying the card numbers you're missing.
Observe market trends and identify low-cost trading opportunities.
Phase 3: Review (After the Event)
Record your achievements
Count the number of Pokémon Dashboards completed, rewards earned, and unmet goals.
Organize your inventory
Distribute excess gold Stickers to long-term trading partners to build relationships for the next event.
↖ Optimize your strategy
Summarize your experience from this event and adjust your trading strategy for the future. For example, which Stickers are most scarce in the market, and which friends are trustworthy, long-term partners?
How to avoid scams?
Preventing scams
Don't fall for promises of send Stickers first, then trade. Try to choose simultaneous trades or real-time confirmation.
Avoid wasting gold card transactions.
Each person can only send five gold Stickers per event. Ensure that each transaction is for high-value transactions.
Seize the right timeframe.
Market dynamics are significantly different at the beginning and end of an event. Allocate resources wisely to avoid missing out on key opportunities.
↖ FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Can I still participate if I don't have duplicate gold Stickers?
Of course! You can trade high-star common Stickers or other scarce Stickers with friends for gold Stickers.
Q2: Which Stickers should I prioritize?
Prioritize exchanging for key Stickers needed to complete the Pokémon Set, followed by higher-rarity mid- to late-stage gold Stickers.
Q3: Will there be an opportunity to trade gold Stickers after the event ends?
After the Golden Lightning event ends, gold Stickers will become untradeable again, so be sure to seize this 24-hour opportunity.
↖ In summary
The Golden Blitz event is a great opportunity to quickly complete your Pokémon collection and clear out your inventory. Preparing ahead, pricing wisely, and trading cautiously will help you maximize your profits with minimal resources. Open your Pokémon collection now and start preparing for the event on October 9th! Time is limited, so the sooner you act, the greater your rewards!
