Monopoly Go Next Golden Blitz (Oct 5th): Hot Diggity Dog & Pressing Stickers Trading

Why is this Golden Blitz worth preparing for? During this 24-hour window, normally untradable Gold Monopoly Go Stickers are temporarily available for trading, allowing you to exchange your duplicate Gold cards for the key cards you need. This is especially effective for winning the Album Grand Prize. In other words, if you miss this opportunity, even if you trade extensively later, no one will necessarily be willing to give you the same Gold card during non-Blitz periods. Time is crucial, meaning the more prepared you are, the greater the rewards.

↖ Event Overview
Time:
This round begins on the Oct 5th and lasts approximately 24 hours. Please refer to the Golden Blitz event icon and countdown on the right side of the game for details.
Tradeable Gold Stickers:
| Hot Diggity Dog | 4-star | Golden | Set 15-6 | ![]() |
| Pressing | 4-star | Golden | Set 16-5 | ![]() |
Sending Limit:
During the event, you can send"up to 5 Gold Stickers (this is in addition to your daily limit of 5 regular stickers). There's no theoretical limit for receiving Gold Stickers, as long as your friends are willing to give.
Triggering Entrance:
The Golden Blitz icon will appear on the right, indicating the event is in progress.
Open your photo album to confirm your inventory of the two Gold Stickers, mark the duplicate cards that can be released, and create a "Tradeable List" in your friends list.
↖ Judging the Value of the Two Gold Stickers
Star Rating and Set Position Information: Both are 4-star Gold Stickers, from Set 15 and Set 16, respectively, and are located in the middle and back-end positions (Set 15-6, Set 16-5). 4-star Gold Stickers located in the middle and back-end positions are generally more likely to hinder the completion of a set. Market Liquidity: During the Blitz, the circulation of these two cards will increase significantly; however, the first one to two hours are generally the most demanding, with supply in the final two hours increasing and bargaining power decreasing.
Practical Tips:
If you already have space in your set, prioritize exchanging for your most in-demand gold stickers of the same rarity or hard-to-draw 4-star key slots in the first three hours.
If you only have a single target card, avoid giving it away early in the event; observe the price and demand later in the event before making a decision.
Post a Request/Purchase List in your friend group, labeling Set 15-6 Hot Diggity Dog, Set 16-5 Pressing, and clearly only exchange for the missing cards to avoid being scammed at a low price.
↖ Practical Strategy: Prepare - Execute - Review (Minimize Cost for Maximum Value)
Preparation Phase (Before/At the Beginning of the Event)
Inventory Check: Check all your 4-star gold stickers; mark duplicate cards as Available for Release.
Prioritize: Sort missing cards by Set Completion Benefit > Star Rating > Personal Preference. Because completing a set often brings direct rewards, this is the true value of Blitz.
Locking Friends and Channels:
Privately chat with a fixed trading partner (faster response, lower default rate).
Small Group Tiers: Group A (Core players who can give you rare cards), Group B (Regular swaps), Group C (Open Group fill-in).
Pricing Anchor: For the first two hours, the primary offer is 1 for 1 same-star Gold sticker. If the target is scarce, a 1 for 2 Regular stickers or Gold sticker + high-star Regular sticker structured pricing may be acceptable.
Risk Control: Confirm the other party's ID and card number (Set 15-6 / Set 16-5) to avoid sending to the wrong person; take screenshots to preserve chats and lists.
Execution Phase (During the Event)
Initiating a Transaction: Go to your album and select a Gold sticker, then set up an exchange or send it directly to a friend. Remember the Gold sticker maximum of 5 per event period is valid; regular stickers can be sent up to 5 per day without conflict.
Request Mechanism: Find the Gold sticker you're missing in your album and click "Request." You can send it to up to 5 friends simultaneously. Once someone fulfills the request, all other requests are automatically canceled.
Timing:
10–30 minutes before the opening and the first hour after the opening: Demand is highest. Try to use duplicate cards to redeem your core card gaps.
- Mid-session: If you're struggling to redeem, try a structured offer (e.g., a gold sticker + a high-star regular sticker).
- Last two hours of the closing: Market supply increases, making it more likely to receive freebie requests. If you're still short on key cards, consider increasing your regular sticker offer accordingly.
- Anti-Scam Tip: Be wary of verbal "give first, then redeem" agreements; we recommend using simultaneous exchanges or real-time voice confirmation.
Review Phase (before and after the event ends)
- 10-minute countdown: Stop new trades to prevent the other party from being unable to reciprocate the gift when the timer expires.
- Record your gains: Which sets have you completed? What rewards have you received? Which friends deserve to be added to your Long-Term Trust List?
- Adjust your inventory: Transfer excess gold stickers to your regular partners to exchange for their potentially scarce slots in the next round, establishing a rolling partnership.
Follow the timeline above and use a target list + structured bidding strategy to increase your chances of winning.
How to Get Gold Posts: Drop Rates and Alternative Paths
Pack Reality: In the current season (Monopoly Origins), there are no exclusive "Gold Packs"; Gold Posts may appear in regular packs, but the drop rate is low and varies depending on the star rating and the pack's star tier.
To get 5-star Gold Posts: Strive for 5-star Purple Packs. They're not easy to come by, so prioritize grabbing them when opportunities arise during Quick Wins or major events.
Alternative Paths:
Take advantage of the unlimited card availability during the Blitz period and request cards through multiple channels.
Some communities will accept trading regular posts for gold posts, especially if you can fill their last remaining gap.
Experienced Data Point:
In the first two rounds of Blitz, I used three duplicate 4-star Gold Posts and several high-star regular Posts to roll over and get the last card in two sets, triggering the album bonus once. The key is "early trading" and structured card-filling.
Don't put all your hopes on pack draws; use Blitz as your primary channel for acquiring items; pack draws are just a bonus.
↖ FAQ
Q1: Can I send out more than 5 Gold Posts?
A: You can only send out 5 Gold Posts per Blitz; this is in addition to the 5 regular Posts per day limit. There's no hard cap on the number of Gold Posts you can receive.
Q2: Can I trade Gold Posts other than those designated for this round?
A: No. Only the two Gold Posts for the current round (Hot Diggity Dog and Pressing in this round) are tradeable.
Q3: The request button can be sent to multiple people at once. Will there be duplicate credits?
A: The system will automatically cancel all other requests for the same item after the first friend fulfills the request. You will only receive one.
Q4: What happens if you're traveling across time zones?
A: The countdown on the right side of the in-game event is used for this. It's recommended to end the event 10 minutes in advance of your local time to avoid leaving expired cards in the hands of the other party.
Q5: I only have one target card, but the other party is offering a high price. Should I give it to them or keep it?
A: If it's a key position in your deck, it's recommended to save it for the mid- to late-game rounds. If you can trade it for your "last missing card," the profit is usually higher.
Q6: Will I be scammed or given away by mistake?
A: Try to trade only with familiar friends; verify the other party's nickname and card number (Set 15-6, Set 16-5), and prioritize "exchanges" over "one-way gifts." Save screenshots of key transactions.
Q7: What if I missed this round?
A: Wait for the next Golden Blitz. Golden stickers generally won't reappear in subsequent rounds, but there's no guarantee. Pay attention to in-game announcements and icon notifications.
