AION 2 Kina Alt Farming Guide: Weekly Caps, Crow Cave & Gear Costs

Start with one farming alt and add a second only when you consistently spend the first alt's available Odyle Energy. The draft's 42M weekly guarantee is not established: claim costs, shared reward reductions, membership, and gear investment all affect your take-home Kina.

We recommend building around net income per complete session, not the number of characters on your selection screen.

Choose Your Alt Count Before Buying More Energy

Unused energy and unfinished runs are the first signs that your roster is too large. Fix that schedule before paying to level another character.

One reliable alt beats three unfinished projects.

Why 42M Is Not a Guaranteed Weekly Payout

We checked the draft's arithmetic: 40 runs × 400,000 Kina − 2M in expenses produces 14M per alt, or 42M across three alts. The calculation is correct, but it does not establish forty eligible runs, full rewards throughout the week, or complete operating costs.

There is another catch: runs and reward claims are different units. If 400,000 Kina comes from two 200,000-Kina claims, you must budget the energy for both.

A community farming model based on October 8 client data estimates the following whole-roster returns at 1,400 gear score, after modeled energy purchases.

Use these historical estimates to compare roster expansion—not to predict your next reset.

RosterF2P Kina / WeekDungeon TimeAdded Alt's Return
Main only 11.30M 6.8 hours —
Main + one alt 18.60M 11.0 hours 1.74M/hour
Main + two alts 25.48M 15.2 hours 1.64M/hour
Main + three alts 30.62M 19.3 hours 1.25M/hour

Stop at two alts unless the third fits your schedule and still beats your alternative farms.

That model reports reduced rewards after 84 Conquest runs or 56 Transcendence runs across the server roster. Check your live reward-adjustment panel before applying those thresholds.

Its membership estimates are 15.30M, 23.40M, 31.50M, and 39.60M for the same four roster sizes. Those figures also predate the October 14 shop changes.

The October Shop Change Does Not Prove Forty Double Claims

We checked the October 14 patch coverage: it reports removal of the 16-per-server Odyle purchase limit and a change from 4/4 to 20/20 per character during the server-transfer period.

The explicit two-week wording applies to Lower Abyss Rift Stone availability, not an independently stated October 28 expiry for the Odyle adjustment.

Read the current shop timer.

Before buying a pass or extra energy:

1. Check your remaining claim energy.

2. Check the shared reward-adjustment counter.

3. Count the runs you can finish before the relevant reset or expiry.

4. Compare the extra eligible rewards with the purchase cost.

More shop stock is useful only when you can turn it into worthwhile claims.

Farm the Cheapest Reliable Dungeon Tier

A low entry requirement saves setup costs, but it does not automatically deliver the best return. Choose between Krao Cave/Crow Cave entry farming and higher tiers by comparing energy efficiency, clear time, and upgrade payback.

Do not chase CP for its own sake.

Compare Claims, Not Inflated Run Totals

The cited community model lists these rewards per 40 Odyle Energy claim, with the required bosses defeated.

Use the claim value to compare energy efficiency before comparing speed.

Dungeon TierReported Entry Gear ScoreKina per ClaimKina per Energy
Conquest 1-star: Krao Cave / Draupnir 700 200,000 5,000
Conquest 2-star: Urugugu Canyon / Vakron Sky Island 1,400 300,000 7,500
Conquest 3-star: Fire Temple / Ferocious Horn Den 2,100 400,000 10,000
Transcendence stages 1–4 1,600–2,500 300,000–480,000 7,500–12,000

Use 700 as a cheap starting point; move higher when the better claim value repays the gear investment.

We checked the unit returns: moving from 200,000 to 300,000 per claim increases Kina per energy by 50%. That advantage matters when energy is your bottleneck, but it can disappear in a time-limited session if queues and wipes become much longer.

The model also says rewards depend on bosses defeated. Record full clears separately from shortened runs or your comparison will be misleading.

Choose a Class You Can Farm With Cheaply

The draft's blanket F-tier verdict on Assassin, Ranger, Sorcerer, and Gladiator lacks comparable gear budgets and completion logs. Its exact skill-rank requirements are also unsupported.

We recommend Chanter or Cleric when you know the kit and your regular group needs that role. If you queue alone, do not assume support guarantees instant entry; group composition still decides whether you are useful.

Measure the result.

Complete five runs on your candidate alt and record:

  • Queue and travel time
  • Full-clear time and wipes
  • Consumable costs
  • Eligible reward claims
  • Net tradeable Kina

Divide net income by the whole session, not just boss-fight time. That exposes the class that looks fast on paper but spends the evening waiting for a party.

Level to the Entry Requirement, Then Test Before Upgrading

Follow the campaign and collect nearby Sealed Dungeon rewards when they support your experience and resource needs. Treat one-time quest income as setup funding, not recurring weekly profit.

Use the live dungeon panel's entry metric. Gear score and combat power are not interchangeable targets.

Before pushing to the next tier, calculate the payback period. For example, a 10M upgrade that adds 1M net income weekly takes ten weeks to repay, assuming that extra income remains available.

If you expect to retire the alt sooner, keep the cheaper build.

Keep Bound Kina Useful and Tradeable Kina Safe

An alt can hold plenty of currency while your main still cannot afford market materials. Keep bound progression funds separate from tradeable purchasing power, and verify every transfer route before risking valuable gear.

Check Payment Priority Before Every Expensive Upgrade

October farming coverage reports that eligible expenses consume bound Kina first. That protects tradeable funds only until the bound balance runs out.

Before confirming an upgrade, inspect the payment preview. If your client offers a tradeable-currency lock, enable it and verify that the transaction respects it.

The preview wins.

Do not rely on the draft's recovery-box limits as insurance; those limits were not established by the checked material.

Test the Entire Storage Route

Moving main gear onto an alt is only half the job. Enhancement or binding restrictions can prevent the upgraded item from returning.

Test with low-value eligible equipment:

1. Deposit it in shared storage.

2. Withdraw it on the alt.

3. Perform one inexpensive permitted enhancement.

4. Return it to storage.

5. Confirm that the main can withdraw it.

If step five fails, stop. The route cannot fund your main in the way the draft promises.

Check these restrictions before committing resources.

SystemFailure PointExecution Rule
Shared activity rewards Alt consumes a valuable shared allowance Read account, server, or character scope first
Shared storage Enhanced item cannot return Test the complete route with cheap gear
Enhancement transfer Fees or lost properties erase savings Compare the final destination preview
Market sales Asking price is mistaken for income Count completed sales after fees
Extra Abyss time No eligible activity is available Buy only when you can use the extension

A transfer shortcut is worth nothing if it strands the finished equipment.

The draft's 4,500 versus 10,000 Kina enhancement costs do not prove that cheap-base upgrading wins overall. Include transfer stones, transfer fees, retained enhancement levels, eligible item types, and binding consequences.

Budget Rare Drops at Zero Until They Sell

Wrathful Minds and artworks belong in your upside column, not your guaranteed weekly income. The draft's exact drop rates and server-wide prices lack enough evidence to support a farming forecast.

Use completed sales after fees to evaluate them. An expensive listing that never sells cannot finance your next upgrade.

We checked the reroll example too: at an independent 1% success rate, failing all 100 attempts has approximately a 36.6% probability. The median first success is attempt 69, but failed attempts do not make the next independent roll more likely.

Set a loss limit before rolling.

Apply the same discipline to titles, weapons, rings, and Abyss time extensions: buy the upgrade that improves your actual build or session, not the item attached to the biggest quoted number.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Use these decision rules before adding another character or paying for more farming capacity.

How many alts should I run for AION 2 Kina farming?

Run one alt first, then add a second when you consistently finish the first alt's profitable claims. Add a third only when its complete-session return justifies the extra time and setup cost.

Can three alts guarantee 42 million Kina every week?

No—the available evidence does not establish a 42M weekly guarantee. That total assumes forty full-value runs per alt, sufficient claim energy, and only 2M in expenses per character.

Is Crow Cave worth farming at 700 gear score?

Crow Cave is worth considering as a low-cost entry farm if your live client confirms eligibility and your clears are reliable. Compare the cost of reaching the next tier with its additional net weekly income before upgrading.

Does claiming rewards twice double my farming efficiency?

Two full-value claims double the run's reward, but they also double its claim-energy consumption. They improve rewards per dungeon clear, not automatically rewards per unit of energy.

Does the October 14 Odyle change end on October 28?

The checked patch coverage does not establish October 28 as the Odyle change's end date. It ties Odyle adjustments to the server-transfer period and explicitly gives a two-week duration to Lower Abyss Rift Stone availability.

Is an Odyle pass or membership worth buying?

Buy it only when the extra eligible rewards you will actually claim exceed its cost. Check remaining energy, reward reductions, available playtime, and the current purchase terms before paying.

Can bound Kina on an alt fund my main's equipment?

Only through a permitted route that leaves the finished equipment transferable back to your main. Test storage, enhancement, and return withdrawal with cheap equipment before moving anything valuable.

Should I buy rings, a weapon, or collection titles first?

Buy the option with the best demonstrated improvement for your current build per Kina spent. Do not use the draft's unverified prices or universal rings first recommendation as a purchase order.

Are Abyss time-extension stones worth buying?

Buy an extension only when an eligible activity is available and you can use the added time. Confirm current quest rewards and participation requirements instead of budgeting around the draft's fixed kill and payout claims.
