CoD Black Ops 6 Bot Lobbies Guide: Everything You Need To Know

CoD Black Ops 6 Bot Lobbies Guide: Everything You Need To Know

To start with, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 contains special private servers that are occupied with AI powered players, commonly known as bots. Having these lobbies is a nice respite as you don't have to continuously compete against the elitists in the lobby.

The game's inclination to win, being kill based, ruins some enjoyable moments in gaming. The other rigid wing of the system allows players to win, tracking them under the same skill level and playing against same skilled teams, at times making any unique playstyle obsolete.

In this guide, we will explore what bot lobbies are, how to find them, if a VPN would be required and other such queries!

BO6: Bot Lobbies

Bot lobbies are the type of lobbies where most players tend to play at a lower skill level making it easier for you to get high kills as well as complete objectives. This may be a derogatory term but it illustrates how skill based matchmaking has been around in Call of Duty on a more constant scale.

BO6 Bot Lobbies Overview

These lobbies are indeed somewhat relaxing as they give a break from the SBMM (Skill-Based Matchmaking) dominated fierce competition of normal matches.

Bot Lobbies SBMM
Majority of players have lower skill level Pairs players of similar skill levels in matches
Easier to achieve high kill counts and complete objectives Ensures a competitive environment
Respite from intense regular matches Can be exhausting for players who prefer relaxed gameplay

Bot lobbies are software based bots which fill up a private lobby to allow full unlock progression along with a feature which lets you invite other people. The invited players can be invited to the private match by the game code or the invite button

Note: No XP or account progress is achieved through private matches.

How to Get Bot Lobbies in CoD BO6?

1. Set Up a Custom Match with Bots

In order to get a bot lobby started, you first need to ensure that you select the option 'Private Match' and this is needed to be done in Black Ops 6. You are allowed to switch on bots for each team by clicking on the plus buttons with a maximum bot limit of 11 as long as you are not exceeding the limits of the match which is 11.

BO6 Create Private Match Setting

Aided is the fact that you can also set the level of difficulty of bots ranging from Veteran as being the hardest to Recruit being the easiest.

Settings & Steps:

  • Go to multiplayer mode and start a private match under the find match option.
  • Click on the buttons in the active player list to invite bots, while the maximum number of bots is 11.
  • Feasible changes can be done regarding the difficulty and team of bots.
  • One can choose a map and even modes by going to the game setting page.
  • Using the bot game code, you can commence multiplayer with bots.

SBMM Multiplayer: Automatic Placement

In the lower skill lobbies of Call of Duty or in other words what can be termed as Bot Lobbies, the skill based matchmaking S.B.M.M system plays a huge role and getting access to these lobbies is only made possible because of this.

Factors such as win/loss ratio, K/D and overall performance decide a player's skill ranking, which ultimately determines the MP lobbies a player is matched up in. Lobbies with bots are what a player gets matched up when he has a low ranking score constantly.

BO6 Robot Lobby Team Overview

Why do you need VPN to access RO6 Robot Lobby?

You can use a VPN on BO6 to easily get paired with lobbies of your choice. The process involves the use of a VPN which changes your IP and allows you to connect to different SBMM lobbies across the world.

BO6 VPN Overview

Benefits of Using VPN:

  • Masks your IP address
  • Connect to servers worldwide
  • Avoid SBMM-heavy lobbies

Now the issue is that once you connect to a server in a certain region or at a certain time, you get roomed with players from that region. This can be beneficial in this game as it gives a higher chance to not get paired up with players from the same region or some experienced players. This trick is especially effective in BO6 where only a few chilled out matches are available.

Note: Bypassing a bot lobby using a VPN isn't illegal! Players have reported that they haven't been able to get banned in COD BO6 for using a VPN. You can use a Navigator VPN and as long as you’re not breaking any of the rules you really don't have to worry getting banned.

Get Bot Lobbies: Other Ways

Although we have previously recommended the use of VPN to access Black Ops 6 bot lobbies, other methods also exist:

Manual Methods to Finding Bot Lobbies:

Playing During Off-Peak Hours The greatest and easiest way to have your chances of winning increased is to play when there are fewer players active, for instance gaming at night which enables you to compete against bots as the systems need additional players for matchmaking.
Creating a New Account Some gamers suggest creating new accounts to play the game so that they can be matched against hobbyists. Alas, this is a slow procedure, and will not work if there has been a significant amount of time dedicated to your primary account.
Playing With Friends Who Are Not Good At The Game Joining a friend who is new to the game or not that good at it may occasionally outcome in lower level lobbies. Oftentimes the game will try to even the teams out, which may decrease the overall difficulty of the game.

This is our final guide regarding the robot lobby in Call of Duty Black Ops 6! The robot lobby allows the players to enjoy a different perspective in BO 6, as not only can you practice your techniques in the game itself, but also you can adapt to the skill based matchmaking system in no time at all!
