↖ Camos Explained
Camos previously required players to reach the next level of their weapon and unlock completing the required challenges. But with BO6 this has changed as it is now easy and players can camo from day one of the game.
New Camo System Breakdown:
Level 1 | All guns have a level 1 and at this level every weapon has a predefined set of challenges that are ubiquitous across the gun. At this base level, the first challenge is to get 100 headshot kills. This simple method solves the problem of having to grind the weapon to level up before doing the camo challenges. |
Specials | Some specific challenges have been unlocked with the finishing of the initial headshot challenge allowing the players to take up other specific challenges for the weapons. These challenges for each gun camo deeper and deeper the progression. |
Mastery | After a player succeeds the headshot and the special challenges, they can take on the Mastery challenges. These challenges are set in place to help prove and test a player’s skills with the specific weapon and even unlock higher prestige camos. |
Dark Matter | The very last in order achievement in the camo progression system is getting Dark Matter. This rare camo can only be managed by players who finish all the mastery challenges for all the guns in the game. Dark Matter in Black Ops 6 is a representation of getting the game done and doing everything in it. |
Opal | Opal is a special camo for a player showcasing that they are skilled in the zombie mode. |
Besides the multiplayer camos, it looks like the zombie mode in Black Ops 6 has camo challenges too. Much like the multiplayer, players can also complete reticle kill progression, special challenges and masteries for certain camos themed around zombies. Additionally, BO6 also features unique camos such as Nebula and Mystic Gold, offering players a wide variety of customization for their weapons.
↖ Weapons Level: Fast Way
For those gamers who are aiming at refining their weaponry, it should be clear to them, that it is impossible to advance through CoD Black Ops 6 without advancing in ranks. In order to reach ranks with minimal struggle, one may opt to play Hardcore or tackle Master Camo grind with a few game modes/ attachments in Core mode.
Hardcore Mode :
- You can select Hardcore from the Quick play menu in order to be directed to this mode.
- Opting for Hardcore Domination or Hardcore Domination or Hardpoint, the user is likely to be awarded headshot multipliers.
- Hardcore modes are however not encouraging of smart plays, rather cheap shots are by all means allowed making the progression of weapon leveling via headshots easier, instead of being a hard fought battle rather cheap.
Core Mode with Attachments:
- Wanna tackle Core mode? Equip your guns with attachments to rack multi headshot kills.
- Attachments such as tonya and others tend to increase the effective damage of a headshot.
- In the case where you do play core zusammen but with some of its attachments, it becomes possible to get the automatic experience to an extent but comparably less than if you were to play hardcore.
Only scopes increase headshot ratio, while Hardcore mode helps earn camo faster for a Mastery Camo achievement. Try both and figure which mode complements your style.
↖ New Perk System
The new perk system aims to give gamers more control over their loadouts. The system includes three main categories of perks: perk one, two and three. Apart from that, players can also equip a fourth perk by unlocking the perk greed wild card at level 54.
Perk Category | Description |
---|---|
Perk 1 | Grants movement and agility related perks including Double Time for an extended sprint. |
Perk 2 | Contains combat and weapons handling perks, such as Dexterity to lessen motion of the gun. |
Perk 3 | Grants a situational Perk to get a tactical edge such as in the case of Assassin who is able to hide. |
Specialty Perks:
These perks are obtained automatically by matching the colored perks that you have selected in your loadout with your specialials, thus providing additional benefits to suit your particular style of play.
Specialty Perk | Effect |
---|---|
Enforcer | Enemies slain boost the players movement and health recovery for a limited amount of time. |
Recon | After respawning, be an enemies sight while they stand through walls for a limited amount of time. |
Strategist | Get extra points for achieving goals or destroying opposing armaments, which boosts strategic ability. |
Optimizing Your Loadout:
Having familiarized yourself with the functionalities of the new perk system, let’s now tailor your loadout to suit different playstyles. We will show you a recommended loadout based on the customized objectives aimed at using the new perk system.
Loadout for Enhanced Mobility:

↖ Graphics Settings: Max FPS
To make the most out of BO6 in terms of shape and performance, it is necessary to optimize graphics settings for highest possible FPS.
Graphics Setting | Recommended Value |
---|---|
Render Resolution | 100 |
ADS Field of View | Unaffected |
Camera Blur | Off |
World Motion Blur | Off |
Weapon Motion Blur | Off |
First Person Movement | 50% |
Setting the render resolution at 100 is vital since it clearly enhances the visuals. Also, the ADS fov should ABSOLUTELY be left untouched since this will reduce visual recoil and improve your aiming. Make sure to set camera blur, world motion blur, and weapon motion blur to off as they impede vision when it is most needed. Putting up the first-person movement to 50% will still make it a very mild ideal and smooth gaming experience.
↖ Hear Enemies: Best Setting
Adjusting the audio settings in order to be able to hear the enemies, as well as to hear better all in general is extremely beneficial.
Audio Setting | Recommended Value |
---|---|
Music Volume | Off |
Cinematic Volume | Off |
Default Device | Advanced Headphone Mode |
Advanced Headphone Mode | On |
Reduced Tonal Sound | On |
Disabling music volume and the cinematic volume is guaranteed to decrease auditory distractions giving primacy to sounds in the game. Turning on advanced headphone mode increases awareness of space and sound in the game giving an edge over opponents. Further, turning on reduced tonal sound enhances sound clarity which makes locating the proximity and direction of the enemies easier.
↖ Pro Interface: Settings
The ability to tweak your Pro Interface settings can be key to enhancing your gaming experience. With the proper adjustments of telemetry, readability, gameplay HUD, visuals and crosshairs, you will have the edge over your competitors and your enjoyment of the game will reach its peak.
Telemetry Settings | For Telemetry turn on the first two options which are a matter of personal preference. |
Readability and Color Customization |
|
Gameplay HUD Presets |
|
Visual Settings for HUD |
|
Color Customization | Apply color customization to highlight and draw attention to enjoyment. |
HUD Bounds | Alter HUD bounds such that the mini map is moved closer to allow instant comprehension of information being processed during intense action. |
↖ Omni Movement
Omni movement gives a whole new perspective to playing BO6 as players can now sprint in different directions and also slide while sprinting. This allows moving and sliding and diving in multiple directions which are completely changing the conventional movement mechanics.
Omni Movement Controls:
Action | Control |
---|---|
Sprint forward | Push left stick forward |
Sprint to the right | Push left stick to the right |
Sprint to the left | Push left stick to the left |
Sprint backwards | Push left stick backwards |
Slide | Click slide button |
Dive | Click and hold left stick |
Mastering Omni Movement Techniques
- Slide Cancel: To perform a slide cancel in any direction simply combine standing with sprinting when necessary by trying to slide. Furthermore, begin with sliding towards your left side, then to the right side and next go backward while running.
- Dive button: Once you are on the battlefield use the dive button to move out of the line of fire and around enemies. Additionally, try diving towards the left, right, and behind to dodge attacks.
Advanced Strategies with Omni Movement
- Slide Cancel Variations: You can try out various versions of a slide cancel to increase your chances of winning a fight for example, do a slide cancel, hold your weapon in, and then jump.
- Fluid Motion: Whenever the situation permits, try combining your movements as if they are a single action for example, do a jump slide and aim together instead of separately to tackle your opponent.

↖ Bonus Tips
1. Map Voting Strategies:
This is crucial when you plan to earn headshots and have fun shooting while engaging in action, to vote for the correct map. Given the availability of 13 maps, understanding which maps to prioritize based on your playstyle is vital.
Map Name | Description |
---|---|
Subsonic | A tiny map with intense, fast-paced gameplay. |
Babylon | Offers high engagement and action-packed encounters. |
Maps that best suit the grinding or engagement players which might be able to do best on these maps. Remember to yell at your teammates so that they are able to cooperate and form a solid voting strategy.
2. Custom Reticle Options:
Custom reticule has proven to give a competitive advantage. It is no longer the case that when you have to read sporting articles, you can only purchase retail products, since customizing a reticule has become an achievement in games.
- MPACBO score with ACUS for reflex interaction, aim and kill 50 peoples, and obtain several reticules.
- Play zombies and various other forms of reticules as the widely desired purple dot can only be obtained there.
Look for more concerning the customization options with regards to how the reticules range which is good but more is expected to come in form of shared content, W zone and the likes integration.
