Camos are weapon skins that allow players to customize the appearance of their firearms in CoD Black Ops 7. What sets these camos apart is their reactive nature; the final tier in each mode transforms dynamically as you fire your weapon, adding an extra layer of visual appeal.

Mastery Camos are final, high-tier skin unlocked by completing all base and special camo challenges for a single weapon, then advancing to more difficult challenges for that entire weapon class and eventually all weapons. BO7 features 16 mastery camos in total, with four unique designs available in each mode: Campaign /Multiplayer/Zombies/Warzone. At launch, players can unlock 12 of these camos, with four additional ones arriving in the Season 1 update alongside Warzone integration.

In addition to Mastery camos, players can also earn "Dozens of Regular Camos" during their grind and unlock unique designs through weapon Prestige levels. Event-specific camos will also make a return, offering timed challenges for exclusive rewards.

Historically, players have had to unlock all base camos for every gun within a category before tackling unique mastery challenges for individual weapons.  The final tier of each mastery camo is often the most challenging to obtain but also the most rewarding.
