Grow a Garden Cooking Event: Updates, Seeds, Pets and Rewards

Grow a Garden new update is finally out and inside of the new cooking update, we have so many new things that we're going to have to talk over. And one of them is actually a gamebreaking mechanic. And one of the main things to note is there are a lot of different recipes that give different outcomes based on what you put into the thing.  This guide we'll break down the main cooking mechanic, including recipes, gear upgrades, trading system, and more.

 

 

Cooking Mechanics

The core of the update revolves around the new cooking system.

  • Dynamic Preferences: The cooking mechanic introduces hourly changing preferences (or cravings) that influence rewards. Crafting recipes based on these preferences increases your chances of better outcomes.
  • Recipes: A variety of recipes are available, including salad, pie, soup, waffle, hot dog, sandwich, sushi, cake, ice cream, pizza, donut, and burger.
  • Color Indicators: When adding ingredients to the pot, the color displayed can hint at the recipe outcome. Color indicators:
    • Salad: Red
    • Sandwich: Orange
    • Pie: Green
    • Waffle: Yellow
    • Hot Dog: Tan
    • Ice Cream: Teal
    • Donut: Yellow-ish4
    • Pizza: TBA
    • Sushi: Turquoise
    • Cake: TBA
    • Burger: Red

Grandmaster Sprinkler
