Grow a Garden Pets Trading Tonkes Values Tier List for Buttercup Quest 2

Let's analyze the economy of Grow a Garden. If you have been watching the Farmer's Market lately, you know the price ranges are inconsistent. We have spent time watching the booth averages and recent sales to create a trading value list.

Grow a Garden Pets Trading Tonkes Values Tier List for Buttercup Quest 2

Whether you plan to invest in high-value items or just want to get a rough estimate of the value of your stock, it is important to understand the difference between an Index Price and an Actual Street Value. We explain the market from the exceptionally high-end to the low-end. This market analysis is based on normal-sized Grow a Garden pets without mutations. The 60kg market has its own characteristics.

The Elite Tier: SSS & S (The Heavy Hitters)

When referring to the SSS Tier, we are talking about pets that are very expensive because of the demand, or very rare code redemptions.

The SSS Outliers

To start off with, let's consider the Wyvern. Although it feels like it's a bit overpriced with regards to what it has to offer, when looking at the average price, the market still manages to be productive. Giant Scorpion is another example. It is a really interesting case of scarcity and utility. The pet is practically useless when it comes to gameplay, and still, there is an average of 50,000 tokens being spent for it. It is simply a collector's piece.

The S Tier: Code Pets

Almost all other of the Code exclusive Wind up Red, Flame Bee and practically all others of the code exclusives apart from the Wyvern and Giant Scorpion, are more than fine being S Tier dominants. They are collector's pieces and also represent a good amount of value because they are unobtainable from other in-game activities.

High Value Assets - Tiers A and B

The active trading occurs in this section. These pets can be obtained, but still are going to set you back quite a bit in terms of tokens.

Tier A: The 1k Club

Kitsune: This one is currently sitting at 800 to 1,000 tokens. This week the sales have been consistently hitting 1,000 so the range might be a good estimate. Savvy buyers are likely to be able to snag one for 900.

Raccoon: This pet is showing a small downtrend. With it previously being higher valued, it is now settling in the 600 to 800 token range. With some luck, you will likely find sellers at the lower end of that spectrum.

Tier B: Solid Mid-Range

At the top of B Tier, the Bee reigns supreme over the Fennec Fox. Why? It is a better version of the Bald Eagle. Expect to pay 500–600 tokens.

Fennec Fox: Prices have stablized at 300–350 tokens. The average is technically 292 so buying at 290 is fair.

Disco: After a dip to 200 a month ago, this pet has bounced back. It is firmly at 250–300 tokens now.

Ruby Sugit: This one is tricky. The seal nerf is still affecting the value of the pet. So while it's listed around 150-200 tokens, the devaluing of the pet should not be a surprise.

The Volatile Middle: Tier C & D

Here we have pets that are great for intermediate players, however, prices fluctuate wildly based on the daily supply.

Tier C: The 150 Range

Both Ice Golem and Spinosaurus are reliable traders in the 130 to 150 tokens range.

French Fry Ferret: This pet took a hit prior. It dropped from 170 to an average of 135 tokens. The reason for the inflated price when compared to the Krampus remains unclear, but the market says otherwise.

Corrupted Kitsune: Here, we see a lot of overpayment. This pet should be priced reasonably at 110–130 tokens, while tracking a bit over Krampus's price, which stands at 100–130.

Tier D: The 100 Token Standard

In this tier, we find the Phoenix, Hydra, and Mummy pets, all of which float in that 80 to 110 token range.

Market Caution (Lobster Term): Caution with the Lobster Term. The Index shows an average zone of 80 tokens, whereas the stalls leave it at an average of 30 tokens. This leads to more overpayment. Caution based on the Index without checking the stalls will lead to all overpaying.

Budget & Entry Level: Tier E & the Okay Tier

When starting to build your economy, these pets are ideal for best liquidity.

Tier E: The 50 Token Club

Some pets have settled on the price of 50 tokens only. Some of those pets include Queen Bee, Elephant, T-Rex, and Butterfly.

Mimic Octopus: It's true that this is, technically, a 50-token pet. However, this does have a considerable demand because people use this for age-breaking. As a result, you may find your buying options constrained to 50 tokens, but this is still a solid buy. Headless Swordsman: Sells for 30 to 50 tokens.

The Okay Tier (Bargain Bin)

Things become a bit confusing with this tier, so for low value, here is a summary:

30 Tokens: Echo Frog.

20 Tokens: Pug, Tiger, Diamond Panther, Yeti.

15–25 Tokens: Koi, Bald Eagle (rarely drops below 15).

5–10 Tokens: Blood Kiwi, Blood Owl, Seal, Lion.

Quick Reference Guide

We have tried to keep the trading data organized in a table to make your trading a bit easier.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the Lobster Term price so confusing?

A difference is seen between the Index Price (historical average) and the Booth Price (current listings). While the Index says 80, active sellers list for 30.While making an offer on pets, always check the booths.

Are the 60kg pets on this list?

No, this guide deals with pets of regular size. 60kg pets have been observed to have dropping values (for example, 60kg Mimic Octopus sells for 400), but they require their own valuation list due to the unique stat multipliers involved.

Has the Ruby Sugit recovered from the nerf?

No. The seal/coin nerf is still active, meaning the pet generates significantly less resources than it previously did. The value of 150-200 is entirely from the pet being a low rarity rather than performance.

Final Thoughts on the Market

The Grow a Garden economy is stabilizing in the mid-tiers (like the Mimic Octopus) and deflating in the high-tiers (like the Raccoon and French Fry Ferret). If you are holding on to pets like the Mimic Octopus, you are in a good spot due to their utility. However, be careful with Index prices on lower-tier items. These prices tend to lag behind the actual street price. Always check the booths for the Farmer's Market to ensure you get the best price. Happy trading!
