Grow A Garden Stork Pets Fast Leveling Method, Best Setup, and Bug Warning

The Stork is a strange Grow A Garden pet at first glance, because it doesn't level your own pet directly. Instead, it takes fruit from your garden and sends XP to another player's pet. That sounds awkward, but in actual testing, it becomes much better when used in a private server with two accounts.

Grow A Garden Stork Pets Fast Leveling Method, Best Setup, and Bug Warning

Right now, this is one of the easier early-game XP tricks we've seen. With a basic setup, players are getting around 3,500 to 4,000 XP per cycle, which is strong for beginners. The catch is that Stork also seems bugged, and that bug heavily affects whether the pet is worth investing in long term.

How Stork Works

The ability is simple:

  • Every 9 minutes, Stork grabs a fruit
  • It delivers that fruit to another player's pet
  • That pet gets 500+ XP or a small passive boost

The important part is obvious once you test it: Stork is a support pet, not a self-leveling pet.

That means it works best when we control both sides of the setup.

Best Use Case

SetupWhy It Works
Private server + 2 accounts Lets you control who receives the XP
Storks on Account 1 Sends XP consistently
Target pet on Account 2 Funnels XP where you want it

If you only use Stork in random public lobbies, a lot of its value disappears.

Best Stork Setup for 3,500+ XP

From player testing, this is the most practical setup right now:

AccountPetsPurpose
Account 1 8 Storks, or 1 Peacock + 7 Storks Support / XP sender
Account 2 Pet you want to level XP receiver

With low-weight Storks, this setup can give around: 3,500 to 4,000 XP per cycle

For a beginner account, that is very solid. Most standard pets do not give this kind of targeted leveling value this early unless your roster is already stacked.

Why Beginners Benefit the Most

If you are still building your pet lineup, Stork is useful because:

  • it is easy to get from event tasks
  • it does not require a high-end roster
  • it helps level one important pet faster
  • it performs best in a simple, repeatable setup

That makes it much more practical than it first looks.

Current Stork Bug

This is the part you should pay attention to before spending too many resources.

Based on current testing, higher Stork weight can lower the XP it gives, which feels backwards.

Stork StateObserved Result
Low weight 500+ XP
Maxed 1.6 kg Stork Around 91 XP

If this is intended, Stork is much weaker than expected. If it is a bug, then the pet may become far stronger after a future fix.

Mimic Octopus Warning

There is also a worse interaction when Giant Mimic Octopus copies Stork.

Some players are seeing:

  • negative XP values
  • copied effects that appear to subtract XP
  • major drop-offs in leveling efficiency

If you notice that happening, stop using that combo immediately.

Is Stork Worth Keeping?

For most players, yes — but mainly as a hold or beginner tool.

Player TypeRecommendation
Beginner Use it
Mid-game Test it carefully
Late-game Optional, not essential
Anyone with Mimic Octopus setup Avoid pairing for now

Here's the practical read:

  • If you are a beginner, Stork is worth using
  • If you already own one, it is worth holding
  • If the bug gets fixed, its value could jump fast
  • If the bug stays, it becomes much less impressive

That is why many players are keeping the pet instead of trading it away too early.

FAQ

Is Stork good in Grow A Garden?

Yes, mainly for early-game leveling. It is not a top-tier all-purpose pet, but it can be very effective in a two-account private server setup.

How do you get 3,500+ XP with Stork?

Use a private server, log into two accounts, place multiple Storks on one account, and put the pet you want to level on the other account.

Does Stork level your own pet?

No. It gives XP to another player's pet, which is why the two-account method is the best way to use it.

Is Stork bugged right now?

Based on current player testing, yes. Higher weight appears to reduce XP instead of increasing it, and Mimic Octopus can cause even worse results.

Final Thoughts

Stork is not a flashy pet, but it is more useful than it looks. In a proper two-account setup, it gives beginners a real way to push pet XP quickly without needing a high-end collection. The current bug is the only reason it feels risky right now.

For now, the smartest approach is simple: use Stork for easy early leveling, avoid the Mimic combo, and keep one in storage in case the devs fix the scaling.
