Monopoly GO Sticker Treasures Event (Jan 25): Rewards, Swap Pack & Sticker Boom Timing

Monopoly Go Sticker Treasures returns on January 25th 2026, and while it looks like a simple digging mini-game, it is actually a test of resource management. Many players make the mistake of looking for maps or solutions online, but we have to be honest: that won't help you. The board layouts are randomized for every player. What you can copy, however, is the timing and pacing strategy.

Monopoly GO Sticker Treasures Event (Jan 25): Rewards, Swap Pack & Sticker Boom Timing

Below is the playbook we use. We have combined the specific data for this upcoming event (including the crucial Swap Pack at Level 16) with our Pace Control strategy—born from a real test run where even 242 blasters weren't enough to finish. We will show you how to squeeze value out of a Sticker Boom and why the leftover blaster conversion rate might be the most important number in this guide.

Featured Rewards

Reward  Details Strategic Value
Wild StickerGrand Prize (Level 20) The most valuable item. It allows you to choose any missing sticker in your album (including Golds).
Swap PackMilestone (Level 16) A rare pack that lets you swap/select a specific card from a generated set. Crucial for filling non-gold gaps.
Dice Rolls2,000 (Grand Prize) The bulk dice reward for finishing Level 20. (Note: You earn ~1,500 additional dice from earlier levels).

2. The 20-Level Roadmap: Your Tactical Guide

Based on our experience, you will likely need between 350–400 blasters (Laser Guns) to fully clear the event. Because of this high cost, we break the event into three strategic phases. This helps you decide where to stop if you run low on dice.

Phase 1: The Build-Up (Levels 1–12)

Target: The 5-Star Purple Pack

This is the warm-up. The goal here is to reach Level 12 without wasting your Sticker Boom timer on low-value rewards.

Level Board Size Reward Our Strategy Tip
1-2 4x4 / 5x4 Green / Yellow Packs Clear these before Sticker Boom starts.
3-4 6x4 / 7x5 Laser Guns + Cash Reload levels. Keep digging.
5 5x5100 Dice Rolls First dice rebate.
6-7 5x5 / 6x6 Yellow Pack / Lasers -
8 7x74-Star Blue PackHigh Value. Try to open this during a Sticker Boom.
9-11 5x5 / 6x6 200 Dice / Pink Pack Steady progress.
126x65-Star Purple PackSafety Net. If you are low on dice, stop here.

Phase 2: The Sprint (Levels 13–16)

Target: The Swap Pack

Level 16 is the strategic pivot point of this event. The Swap Pack allows you to choose a specific card you need, making it incredibly valuable for closing difficult sets.

Level Board Size Reward Our Strategy Tip
13 5x6400 Dice Rolls Crucial dice injection to keep going.
14-15 5x6 / 6x7 Pink / Mixed Packs Low value. Push through quickly.
167x7Swap PackPriority Target. Do not miss this reward.

Phase 3: The Endgame (Levels 17–20)

Target: The Wild Sticker

These levels have the largest boards (7x7) and highest burn rates.

Level Board Size Reward Our Strategy Tip
17 7x7800 Dice Rolls Massive dice reward.
18 7x74-Star Blue Pack Another chance for a Boom opening.
19 7x7 Money The Sunk Cost trap. No items, just cash.
207x7Wild Sticker + 2K DiceGrand Prize. Only push if you can guarantee a finish.

3. Core Strategy: Pace Control & The Sticker Boom

Real Data Warning: 242 Blasters Might Not Be Enough

We recently tested a run where we entered with 242 blasters and still did not finish the event. This isn't bad luck; it's how dig events behave when boards are randomized.

What does this mean for you? Blaster count gives you odds, not a promise. Therefore, we use a Three-Phase Pacing strategy to maximize value even if we don't finish.

Phase A — Pre-Boom: Burn the Junk

Before a Sticker Boom activates, push through the early levels (1–7).

Why? Opening a green pack during a Sticker Boom is a waste of time. Stop digging the moment your next reward is a Big Ticket item (Level 8 Blue Pack or Level 12 Purple Pack).

Phase B — During Boom: The Premium Sprint

Once the 30-minute window starts, your goal is simple:

Sprint through levels that award Blue, Purple, or Swap packs.

If you notice: You are one level away from a premium pack, ignore all other game aspects and focus solely on digging to that pack to open it while the boost is active.

Phase C — Post-Boom: Farm or Finish

After the Boom ends:

If you have plenty of blasters (150+), push for the Wild Sticker at Level 20.

If you are running low, pause. Go earn more blasters from tournaments or banner events before digging further.

4. The Decision Matrix: Wild Sticker vs. Conversion Value

The Wild Sticker is Insurance, Not the Only Plan

A fun twist we see in practice is that you can often finish your album before the Wild Sticker, especially if you open the Level 16 Swap Pack or Level 12 Purple Pack during a Sticker Boom.

Our Advice: Save the Wild Sticker for a Gold Card that you cannot trade for.

The Hidden Detail: 1 Blaster = 3 Dice

This conversion rate is higher than many past events. It changes the math completely at the end of the event.

When to STOP digging (The Bank It Strategy):

If you are on Level 19, have zero dice, and 40 blasters left:

Do not dig.

Those 40 blasters will convert to 120 Dice automatically when the event ends.

Digging Level 19 only gives you Cash. Spending 40 blasters to get Cash is a bad trade.

When to GO (The All-In Strategy):

If you are on Level 20 and close to the end:

Spend everything. The Wild Sticker + 2,000 Dice is worth far more than the conversion rate of a few leftover blasters.

FAQ

1. Can I copy someone else's dig map?

No. Layouts vary by player. Dig tile X on Level Y advice is unreliable. Copy our timing* strategy (Pre-Boom push, Boom sprint), not our coordinates.

2. Is 250 blasters enough to finish?

Not guaranteed. As mentioned, we failed a run with 242. We recommend aiming for 350–400 blasters to be safe. If you have less, aim for Level 16 (Swap Pack) as your main goal.

3. Sticker Boom is only 30 minutes—what is the priority?

Premium packs. If you can only do one thing, claim and open the Level 8 Blue Pack, Level 12 Purple Pack, or Level 16 Swap Pack.

4. Why are my pickaxes looking like Laser Guns?

This is just the visual theme for this specific Sticker Treasures event. They function exactly the same as pickaxes or shovels in previous events.

Closing

Sticker Treasures is a pacing puzzle disguised as a digging mini-game. When you treat the Sticker Boom as a premium-pack opening window rather than a panic button, you consistently get more album progress per blaster.

Remember the golden rule of this event: 1 Blaster = 3 Dice. Once you factor this in, it becomes easier to choose the profitable line: push early for low-tier rewards, sprint during the Boom for the big packs, and then either finish strong for the Wild Sticker or bank your leftovers for a guaranteed dice payout. Happy digging!
