↖ What Makes Rituals Good in 3.25?
Within several important aspects of ritual farming is the return of hardcore item, 'The King in the Mist' which the boss audience with the King fights have deemed necessary. Some omens like Omen of Fortune and Omen of Connection have still their market while Aeration and Omen of Blanking have found their uses as an other form of earnings. Scarabs as well have changed, and now they contribute significantly towards making ritual farming worthwhile.

↖ About Ritual
Ritual is a map mechanic that involves engaging in combat with monsters near ritual altars. Defeating monsters within the ritual circles enables players to accumulate tribute, which can be exchanged for rewards and favors. The mechanics of ritual farming is essential for optimizing your farming strategy and maximizing tribute gains.
↖ Who Respawns?
In Ritual encounters, only innate monsters present in the map before opening can respawn within the ritual circles. Additional mechanics that spawn monsters after the initial map opening, such as bridges or harbingers, do not contribute to respawnable monsters in rituals.
However, innate inhabitants and specific mechanics like Shrines, Rogue Exiles, and Delirium monsters can be resurrected through rituals, thereby enhancing tribute gains. It is important to note that respawned monsters must have originally spawned inside the ritual circle to be revived.
↖ Luring?
Contrary to expectations, luring enemies inside the ritual circle does not yield the desired results. However, there have been instances where luring mob bosses close to, but not directly inside, the circle has resulted in successful respawns. While the effectiveness of boss luring in version 3.25 remains uncertain, players are encouraged to share their experiences and insights regarding this tactic.
↖ Stat to Boost Favour
The primary factor influencing the amount of tribute obtained from rituals is the Prizes. Maximizing prizes through various methods is crucial for enhancing tribute gains. Players are advised to prioritize high Prize, particularly within the maps themselves, as it directly correlates to the amount of tribute earned.
More packsize -> More favour -> More Rewards
↖ Favour & Monster Rarity
When participating in rituals, it's important to note that different monsters provide varying amounts of tribute. Unique monsters and map bosses offer significantly more tribute compared to white monsters.
However, it's essential to be mindful that each time a monster is revived in the ritual, the tribute received decreases. Understanding the tribute amounts from different monsters is key to optimizing your ritual farming efficiency.
- White monsters: Provide the least amount of tribute.
- Unique monsters and map bosses: Provide the most tribute.
- Decreased tribute on monster revival: Tribute decreases with each revival.
↖ How to Manage Favour Correctly?
Managing favor is crucial due to the limited availability of tribute. Stacking rares and including a map boss in the ritual can significantly boost your tribute.
However, given the limited tribute, it's often impractical to purchase all potentially good items. Instead, deferring items is a more viable strategy. When deferring an item, a fee is paid to keep it in the ritual pool for future reappearance while also lowering its price.
- Stacking rares and including map bosses: Boosts ritual tribute.
- Deferring items instead of buying: Due to limited favor.
- Consistently deferring items: Best strategy for ritual farming.
↖ Avoid Losses
To avoid losses when deferring items, it's crucial to defer items every time they appear in the ritual. By deferring items, their price decreases with each deferral.
However, if a particular item is not deferred, its price rises back, resulting in unnecessary tribute loss. Therefore, it's imperative to diligently defer items in every map to prevent such losses and maximize favor utilization.
- Defer items every time they appear: To lower item prices.
- Price rise without deferral: Results in unnecessary tribute loss.
- Diligent deferral in every map: Prevents losses and maximizes favor.
↖ Rerolling
When rerolling rewards, ensure that you have at least 5K Tribute after the last reroll. The final reroll typically costs around 1.5K Tribute, so having a reserve of at least 5K Tribute is crucial.
This reserve ensures that you can afford potential high-value rewards that may appear during the final reroll, such as mirror Shards or expensive divination cards. Maintaining a 5K Tribute reserve is essential for optimizing your farming outcomes.
- Minimum 5K tribute after last reroll: Allows for potential valuable rewards.
- Valuable rewards in final screen: Mirror shards, expensive divination cards.
- Maintaining 5K favor: Ensures valuable rewards can be deferred.
↖ What to Defer or Buy?
Determining what to defer or buy and how to profit from ritual farming involves strategic decision-making. Starting with audience with the Kings and prioritizing expensive divination cards is a recommended approach.
Additionally, checking for valuable synthesized bases and ritual splinters can contribute to maximizing profits. Furthermore, considering expensive scarabs and performing price checks within the ritual using Awakened PoE Trade can aid in identifying profitable items.
- Start with audience with the Kings: Prioritize expensive items.
- Expensive divination cards: Ideal for maximizing profits.
- Valuable synthesized bases and ritual splinters: Contribute to profit.
- Consider expensive scarabs: Perform price checks for profitability.
↖ Maximize Favour
Prioritize clearing the most populated rituals first. Start with rituals that have a high density of monsters nearby, such as those with shrines or legions.
Additionally, rushing to bosses to ensure they are located inside the ritual circle can significantly boost favor gains. By assessing available ritual options and strategically initiating rituals, players can effectively maximize favor in every map.
↖ Best Maps
When choosing maps for ritual farming, prioritize running rituals in Glacier, Mesa, and Jungle Valley.
- Glacier's dense layout and close proximity of bosses make it an ideal map for ritual farming.
- Similarly, Mesa's compact size allows for quick boss encounters and increased chances of encountering legions or shrines within the ritual.
- Jungle Valley's popularity and versatility make it a viable option for ritual farming.
While Glacier is a preferred choice, experimenting with other maps based on personal preferences is encouraged.
↖ Preparing Maps
Preparing maps for ritual farming involves rolling approximately 30% increased monster pack size. This ensures a suitable environment for efficient farming while considering the capabilities of your build.
Additionally, applying delirium using delirium orbs enhances the farming experience by providing bonus rewards. It's recommended to use a single delirium orb per map, although stacking multiple orbs is possible but not always necessary for optimal profit.
↖ Atlas Tree - Preparation
When setting up your Atlas tree for ritual farming preparation, it's essential to focus on specific nodes and bonuses that will enhance your farming efficiency. Here's a breakdown of the recommended Atlas tree setup:
Prioritize Shrines | Allocate points towards shrines with supplication and Drawn to Power for increased monster spawns. |
Invest in SRTIS | Allocate points to receive additional shrine effects and character bonuses, enhancing map clearing speed. |
Ritual Related Bonuses | Take chances for rituals with Secret Lens and bonuses for additional P size for explicit modifiers on your map. |
Influence Preference | Opt for Elder gase for increased map quantity, allowing for potentially better drops while running rituals. |
Legion Chances | Stack Legion chances to ensure consistent Legion spawns, a valuable source of rewards. |
Scarab Buffs | Prioritize allocating points towards scarab buffs such as Remarkable Relics and Amplified Artifacts for increased unique monster spawns. |

↖ CYCLE: Preparation → Cash Out
Efficient preparation and cash-out strategies are essential for maximizing your ritual farming gains. Here's a breakdown of the preparation and cash-out process:
- Stockpile Rewards: While running rituals, accumulate rewards in your ritual. Once you feel the rewards have stockpiled sufficiently, proceed to cash out.
- Immutable Dogma: Allocate one point to Immutable Dogma for 100% more tribute during cash out.
- Scarab Setup: Utilize a specific Scarab setup to maximize tribute gains during cash out.
- Rolling Rewards: Continuously roll rewards to accumulate as many items as possible before cashing out.
↖ Arbitrary Tenets
The effectiveness of Arbitrary Tenets in your cash-out strategy depends on the number of favors you possess. Consider the following factors when deciding whether to utilize Arbitrary Tenets:
- Favor Quantity: If you have a diverse range of favors, Arbitrary Tenets can be beneficial as it may lower the cost of certain items.
- Limited Favors: If you possess a limited number of favors, it is advisable to avoid Arbitrary Tenets to prevent potential negative impacts on your cash-out stage.
↖ How Ritual Scarab of Wisps Works?
By staying within the circle with the flying wisp, you can receive a substantial 70% increased tribute. It's essential to stay as close as possible to the wisp to fully benefit from this significant increase in tribute.
Use only 1 Abundance
When it comes to using the Ritual Scarab of Abundance, it's important to note that using only 1 scarab is sufficient. Using two scarabs not only increases the currency cost significantly but can also overwhelm the amount of rewards in the ritual. With a single scarab of abundance, you can already fill up your ritual menu, and using two scarabs might result in losing some items as the ritual becomes completely full.
Last Scarab Options
Choosing the last scarab for your setup provides flexibility and can further enhance your farming experience. Here are some viable options to consider:
Anarchy Scarab | This scarab is a good choice as Rogue Exiles can spawn inside rituals, providing additional tribute. |
Scarab of Adversaries | This scarab spawns at least four packs with mirrored rare monsters, increasing the chances of spawning inside rituals. |
Domination Scarab | More shrines are always beneficial, and this scarab can also speed up mapping by providing additional survivability or damage. |
Scarab of Monstrous Treasure | This scarab increases magic pack size, which is advantageous for rituals. |
Legion Scarab | If Legion is not consistently spawning in your Atlas, this scarab can be a valuable choice. |
↖ Pre Map Setup
It is essential to use Blood-Filled Vessels in conjunction with at least four Ritual Scarabs. This combination increases the amount of tribute received and adds a significant number of monsters to the ritual. For Blood-Filled Vessels, prioritize ones with many unique monsters, particularly those from tier 17 maps.
Additionally, utilize Delirium and high map quantity (PX size) for optimal results. Domination is also recommended as a viable option for map setup.
↖ Protip
A useful trick to expedite the sorting of favors is to open the ritual menu and click on "Utilize item filters". This action allows you to quickly assess the items present in the ritual, streamlining the sorting process.
↖ Expected Profit
The profit from Ritual farming is not fixed and requires running multiple maps to prepare the main stage before cashing out. On average, players can expect to earn a decent amount of divines per hour, ranging from five to nine or potentially higher. In addition to basic divination cards and currency, there is a chance of obtaining jackpot loot such as valuable cards or even a mirror shard or mirror itself.
While Ritual farming presents jackpot opportunities, it also offers stable profits when combined with other mechanics such as Rogue Exiles or stack deck farming.
Ritual farming in PoE 3.25 offers an engaging and potentially lucrative strategy for players. By optimizing Scarab and map setups, utilizing time-saving tricks for sorting favors, and understanding the expected divines and profits, players can enhance their farming efficiency. We hope this guide has provided valuable insights for your Path of Exile journey.
