In PoE Settlers of Kalguur, a stable Atlas farming strategy has emerged, allowing players to farm approximately 6 Divines per hour with various Divination cards and Splinter/Breachstone drops. From core elements to scarab selection and map device setup, this strategy is designed to help players achieve consistent results. By leveraging the Beyond and Breach mechanics, Max returns and Min risk.

↖ The Strategy
In this farming strategy, Beyond and Breach mechanics should be used together with valuable currency buffs. Help players farm a lot of Breachstones such as Chulas which have become more expensive after scarab mechanics were changed. Moreover, the method gives many divination cards, currency items as well as improved loot and experience in each map.
Core Elements of the Strategy
-
Beyond + Breach + Eater Altars
-
Breaches can now consistently drop breachstones
-
As usual, the best drop is chayula Breachston/Splinters
-
Now we need to fish for chayula encounters
↖ Scarabs Setup
When setting up scarabs for this farming strategy, you must consider using Bridge scarab of lordship because it makes sure that there is a Bridge Lord who drops many splinters and has some chance to drop a Breachstone.
Also by spamming extra scarabs like Bridge Scarab of Splintering and normal Bridge Scarab will ensure continuous breaches in every map without them getting too much on your way or costing more than necessary such as two Bridge scarabs of splintering being cost effective while giving an extra bonus.
↖ Map Setup
For the map device setup to work best with this farming strategy, one needs to add a Bridge Craft onto it so that three additional breaches can be generated making seven breaches per map in total.
Although another Bridge scarab may replace any of the splinter-related ones for flexibility purposes, it is recommended that priority be given to using splinter-related ones because they make farming more efficient.
- Breach Scarab of Lordship: Breachlords drop a lot of splinters and can even drop a full breachstone, which is $$$
- Breach Scarab: Rises the number of Breaches in the map
- Breach Scarab of Splintering: Gives a small boost to the nnumber of splinters dropped.
Map Device: We will be using breach craftt for 3 more breaches.
With Scarabs and craft we will have at least 7 breaches per map
As an option: Splintering Scarab can be replaced with another breach scarab.
Breach Scarab of Snares: Is a very good option, but expensive
With it 10C Per Map would turn into 30-40C
If you want to use it replace one splintering
Keep in mind that I tested the strategy without it and it would be better to use it if the prices decrease.
Breach Scarab of Resonant Cascade: Is a good option, However your build should be fast and have good clear to fully benefit from it.
If you want to use it replace one splintering
Best option is to try it once and see if your build works with it.
↖ Detailed Costs Breakdown
To develop a strategy to exceed and surpass Atlas, the estimated costs are as follows:
Item | Cost |
---|---|
Breach Scarab x 2 | 1.5C (3C total) |
Splintering Scarab x 2 | 1C (2C total) |
Lordship Scarab x 1 | 1 Chaos |
Map Craft | 6 Chaoses |
Total/Map: 12 C
The whole setting up fee is about 11 Kelas. The costs per run are 12 Kelas which make this approach as one of the most reasonable strategies for currency farming.
↖ How to Roll Maps?
Prioritize running Massa maps due to their potential to drop valuable divination cards. Aim for normal quality and quantity of at least 100%, with a monster pack size of around 30 to ensure optimal drops.
-
Use Regular Chisels
-
100% + Quant
-
30% + Packsize
↖ Should You Corrupt?
Look at running 8 mod corrupted maps if able with enough pack size and item quantity per map. Don't manually corrupt maps to prevent loss, go for either 8 mod corrupted or normal ones that have a little lower pack size but equal quantity.
↖ Why Use Eater?
Eater of Worlds is preferred over Exer for this strategy due to its ability to provide higher quantity, essential for obtaining additional bonuses and valuable currency items such as Carved and basic currency. Its contribution to overall profits makes it a strategic choice for this farming approach.
↖ What to Pick in the Atlas Tree?
Select the following Atlas passives to optimize the Beyond and Breach Atlas strategy:
- Evolving Hives
- Probing for Weakness
- Torture Dreams
- Within the Grasp
- Endless Tide
- Other World Artifacts
- ELD Gaze
- Swarming High
These passives enhance breach-related aspects, increase density, and provide opportunities to drop valuable divination cards. Additionally, prioritize explicit modifier bonuses to boost pack size and quantity.
↖ Harder Version
If your construction is powerful, you may want to look into combining your beyond strategy with delirium. This will let you stack deliriums and drop a lot of splinters thus increasing profits. However, keep in mind that delirium can be hard on both the performance of your PC and the requirements of your build. Thus if you decide to use it ensure that it will not break your build.
Also think about using Shadow Hunger and Elder Gaze to increase currency gain from Elder Chayula Breachstones while Delirium may greatly enhance your strategy depending on whether or not it fits into what type of character/build you have.
↖ Detailed Loot & Profit Breakdown
The loot found after one hour using Beyond + Breach farming strat was Chaos Orbs, 5 Fortune Divination Cards, Forest Map, Augmented Distant Memory.
Loot breakdown showed that strategy gave average 6.1 Divine Orbs per hour. Chayula Breachstones and Forest Map were the most profitable drops which added up to around 5 Divine Orbs total profit; this is without taking into account drop rate variation though so do consider it when thinking about potential profit.
↖ What Gems to Level?
Lightning Strike, Assassin's Mark, Punishment, Elemental Weakness Petrified Blood Sniper's Mark are among popular leveling gems. However when choosing which ones to level make sure they have stable price range available otherwise go for others instead; try levelling at least six gems in offhand sets for maxing out profits.
↖ How much Scarabs Should Cost (Maximum)?
If you are going for Scarab-based strategy then it is important to know maximum justifiable prices of these items. Consider run speed cluster handling etc when deciding whether or not invest in higher priced scarabs.
Bridge Scarabs Cost Analysis:
- Bridge Scarab: Up to 2k
- Bridge Scarab of Lordship: Up to 2k
- Bridge Scarab of Splintering: Not recommended if costing more than 3ksas
- Bridge Scarab of Snares: Justified at around 15k, not recommended above 30k
Keep an eye out on scarab prices and adjust the strat accordingly to maximize your gains. By looking for additional bonuses such as exp and random drops etc, this strat can up your farming experience overall.
