In PoE 3.25 there were some significant changes made to the leveling strategy with the removal of teaching Shrine scarabs for experience. But now there is a new solo strategy that allows players to level up faster and get better loot while playing alone. This guide will talk about shrines, scarabs, map setup and map craft which can be used to boost the experience acquired during leveling process

↖ The Strategy

To level up faster solo in PoE 3.25 we are going to mix several mechanics such as: Shrines, Beyond, Breach, Delirium. These mechanics have very good synergy between them which results in high monster density and xp gain.

 

Also it's possible to use evolving Shrine from domination scarabs of evolution that clears all monster under its influence giving opportunity for Monsters White -> Magic -> Rare Evolution which gives more exp and gold per kill.

 

Core Mechanics:

• We use a combination of mechanics to get a lot of monsters, hence more exp.
• Shrines, Beyond, Breach & Delirium are especially great for boosting exp gain.
• High-density mechanics synergize well with bey.

 

Domination Scarab of Evvolution:

• How it works: When you kill a monster, it drops loot and exp as if its rarity is higher.
• Example: You kill a normal monster and it grants exp as if it was magic.
• The goal is to clear the whole map under the effect to this shrine!

 

↖ Scarabs

For scarab setup you will need at least 2 domination scarabs of evolution (for additional shrines / evolved monsters) + 2 breach scarabs so any map contain breaches + Beyond scarab of invasion with additional beyond portals from rare monsters = large amounts of exp gained overall.

Do Not Take the second evolving shrine if you are under the effect of the first one, The effects and suration don't stack and it will just be a waste! 

 

At worst, you will pay 10C for scarabs, Usually, the range is 5-10c for this scarab set.

The scarab setup involves using at least 2  domination scarabs of evolution to capitalize on additional shrines and evolving monsters. Additionally, using two breach scarabs ensures the presence of breaches within the map setup. The inclusion of a Beyond scarab of invasion provides additional Beyond portals from rare monsters, enhancing the overall experience.

 

↖ Map Setup

For map setup choose layout with lots of open space like Masa or any other similar maps. Roll the map with at least 100% quantity / pack size around 30% so there would be maximum amount of monsters on it at once (maximum density). Apply any delirium orb on the map so you guaranteed have delirium & delirium monsters - it's more exp from numbers.

 

 

↖ Map Craft

There are two options for map crafting – domination craft or breach craft. Domination craft adds additional shrines and monsters while breach craft provides three extra bridges. You can use either one depending on whether you want to clear shrines faster or do more bridges additionally. The whole map setup with all expenses should be around 15chaos max - this gives decent amount of exp and potential drops.

• Shrine: Cheaper, use it if you want to clear maps faster
• Breach: More expensive, more exp

 

↖ Eater or Exarch

When choosing between Eater and Exarch, the first one is usually preferable because:

• Eater gives more monsters on average.
• The alters can be better themselves, slight chance for Divine Alters spawn.
• Running Eater is recommended for benefits during gameplay maximization

 

So it's better to run Eater most of time for a more rewarding solo experience.

 

↖ Atlas Tree

The Atlas Tree helps leveling faster solo a lot. Here are some key points:

• Explicit modifier levels increase pack size (prioritize them).
• Buffs for the breach like Ving hpes + prob for weakness are must have
• Take supplication (more shrines as it provides more monsters)
• Duration shrines help by keeping evolving Shrine at your character longer time
• Swarming Hive can help with Divination Card drops adding value in certain cases
• Instead of considering other possibilities, we should try to make Beyond limitless so that it doesn’t get lost when the boss is spawned.
• We should focus on Elder Gaze because it gives additional Ultra bonuses.
• Box size is crucial for Eater as it increases the number of monsters and beyond monsters which spawn.
• Giving drone to power more magical PX will greatly enhance the breach experience.

 

↖ Why Not Abyss?

Though the Abyss definitely has its uses, there are some reasons it may not be the best way to level up quickly alone:

• The Bridge itself is faster than the Abyss and can spawn a reasonable amount of monsters.
• It's easier to create many breaches in one map than spawn a lot of abysses.
• Prioritizing the Bridge over the Abyss will make your progression faster and leveling more efficient.

 

↖ If You Can't Delirium?

If you're having trouble dealing with Delirium, then don't use Delirium orbs on maps. Skipping it entirely will still give you a good leveling experience and you won't be getting any bonuses for Delirium in PoE 3.25.

 

↖ Speed Up Maps

Use Flash Bridge with two bridge passives to greatly speed up your maps. If your build is fast enough, dropping delirium completely for this step will yield better results.

 

↖ Omen of Amation

• Use Omen of Amation to save 70% experience and 75% experience lost if you die.
• This is very important especially when playing in normal or trade leagues but not hardcore.
• Make sure that you have at least one Omen of Amation in your inventory with no other omens or else it won't work.

 

↖ Breachstones

While running this strategy you will come across Chula's Breachstones which result in huge amounts of Chula splinters. Once you have obtained Chula's Breachstones consider running them for additional bonus experience as they provide great exp/hour.

 

These strategies are what I personally use to level up faster solo on PoE 3.25. With these tips, you can overcome challenges related to Deliriums, speed up your maps, protect your experience with Omen of Amations and maximize your bonus exp from running Breachstones. In general this strat is great for leveling but also very enjoyable for solo play!
