Spiritvale Weaver Guide: Wind, Water, Fire & Holy Auto-Caster Builds

Weaver isn't one build. It's four builds wearing the same class name.

Spiritvale Weaver Guide: Wind, Water, Fire & Holy Auto-Caster Builds

You can pull skills from any base class, which means you're not locked into a single playstyle. This guide skips the theory and gives you what actually works: Wind to level, Water to test matchups cheaply, Fire or Holy/Meteor once you hit 100+.

Starting Class: Go Rogue

The path to the Weaver Master in Starfall Tundra is rough if you're undergeared. Cloaking lets you skip fights instead of dying to them.

Starting Class Verdict
Rogue Best pick — cloaking = safe travel
Any other class Works, but riskier route
Ranged/magic class Fine if you already farm safely

Weaver can come from any class. Your starting class just decides how painful the unlock is.

Why Auto-Caster Is the Only Real Build

Manual casting wastes Weaver's potential. Auto-cast triggers spells off your attacks, so attack speed and trigger rate matter more than raw cast power.

Three things carry this build:

  • Fast attack flow
  • Elemental triggers
  • Gear/gem swaps on demand

That last point is the whole appeal. Match your element to the enemy, not the other way around.

Progression Path

Stage Build Why
Early gameWind Best for Crystal Cave / Sunken Depths
Sub-100 Wind or Water Water works without endgame gear
100+Fire or Holy/Meteor Needs late-game weapons
Anytime Match monster weakness Efficiency > loyalty to one element

Level 100 is the wall. That's when Violet Arc and Solar Pulse open up. Don't rush Fire before you can afford it.

Wind Weaver — The Starter Build

Wind carries you through Crystal Cave and Sunken Depths without demanding endgame gear. Start here. No exceptions.

Gear

Slot Item
Main HandTempest Staff
Off Hand Storm Bolt Kunai
Armor Ash Walker Set
Headwear Drooping Cat
Eyewear Doom King
Utility Eye Patch
Accessory Weaver Gauntlets (or Azure Prism/Skull Pendant)

Sub-Stats to Chase

  • Weapon: Wind damage, attack speed, auto-cast support
  • Armor: Elemental resist, magic defense
  • Accessories: Auto-cast value, elemental scaling

Dying too much? Shift toward survivability. A dead Weaver casts zero spells — that's just bad math.

Artifacts & Gems

Choice Use It If…
Veil Ward You're getting deleted by Cold Bolt in Sunken Depths
Arcanum You can cloak/dodge reliably — more damage

Gems: Thunderbolt Gem + Lightning Gem.

Grimoires

Hidden Strikes, Spell Shot, Banishment Well.

Water Weaver — The Cheap Swap

Water reuses 80% of your Wind setup. Swap weapon and a few gems — done. This is the lowest-friction elemental test you'll ever run.

What Changes

Slot Swap To
Main HandChain Frost Staff
Off Hand Frost Bomb
Headwear Drooping Flora
Chest Card Frost Glimmer Card
Gems Ice Bolt Gem, Ice Shard Gem

Ice Shard is your main damage source. Ice Bolt (5 points) supports it.

Wind vs. Water

Build Strength Weakness
Wind Reliable general farming Falls off vs. resistant enemies
Water Cheap, matchup-flexible Needs Ice-weak targets to shine

Kill speed dropping in a specific zone? Water fixes it faster than a full rebuild.

Fire Weaver — Endgame Damage

Wait until level 100. Fire's best pieces (Solar Pulse) are locked behind late-game content. Go early and you're just a worse Wind build.

Gear Swaps

Slot Item
WeaponMeteoric Staff (or Staff of Attorneys for mana)
EquipmentSolar Pulse
Headwear Drooping Pop
Chest Card Fire Glimmer Card + Vanilla Ice Card
Gems Fire Bolt Gem, Meteor Gem

Fire Bolt: 5 points.

Grimoires

Hidden Strikes, Spell Shot, Combustion.

Meteoric Staff vs. Staff of Attorneys

Weapon Pick It If…
Meteoric Staff You want max damage
Staff of Attorneys You're sitting down every few pulls from mana drain

Perfect damage numbers mean nothing if you're out of mana half the fight.

Holy/Meteor Weaver — The Hybrid

This one breaks the ranged-only mold. Holy Light + Meteor + melee triggers = you're fighting closer than usual. Positioning suddenly matters a lot more.

Gear Swaps

Slot Item
EquipmentBloom of Midnight, Solar Pulse
Headwear Drooping Angel
Card Vanilla Ice Card
GemsHoly Light Gem, Meteor Gem

Holy Light: 5 points.

Grimoires

Hidden Strikes, Light Weaver, Radiant Strikes.

100+ only. Dying too fast? Don't force it — go back to Wind, gear up, return later.

Gear Priority — What to Upgrade First

Chasing every item at once burns currency for nothing. Upgrade in this order:

1. Main weapon — defines your element

2. Artifact gems — direct boost to auto-cast

3. Grimoires — trigger synergy

4. Chest card — elemental scaling

5. Accessories — polish

6. Defensive artifacts — keeps you alive

A Fire build without a Fire weapon isn't a Fire build. It's a confused Wind build wearing red shoes.

Prioritize defense if you're dying before clearing packs, or losing time walking back from death. In Sunken Depths, Veil Ward often beats a greedier damage set — consistency wins over peak numbers.

Element Comparison

Build Main Skills Timing Difficulty Edge
Wind Wind auto-cast Early-mid Easy Best starter
Water Ice Shard, Ice Bolt Early-mid Easy-medium Cheap swap
Fire Meteor, Fire Bolt 100+ Medium Late-game damage
Holy/Meteor Holy Light, Meteor 100+ Medium-high Hybrid scaling

None wins every matchup. That's the point.

Common Mistakes

Switching too early. Fire/Holy before 100 without gear feels worse than Wind. Not the build's fault — it's just gear-sensitive.

Ignoring survivability. No uptime, no damage. Simple as that.

Copying gear blindly. Ask first: what's killing me, physical or magic? If it's Cold Bolt, more Fire damage won't save you. Veil Ward will.

Treating accessories as the build. They polish. They don't define. Weapon and gems come first.

FAQ

What's the best beginner Weaver build?

Wind auto-caster. Cheapest to assemble, strong in Crystal Cave and Sunken Depths, and sets up every later transition.

Which base class before Weaver?

Rogue. Cloaking makes the Starfall Tundra trip survivable. Any class can advance to Weaver — Rogue just makes it painless.

Do I need level 100 for Weaver?

Not for Wind or Water. But Fire and Holy/Meteor need late-game gear like Solar Pulse to feel good — don't rush them.

Water or Wind — which is better?

Depends on the target. Wind is the safer all-rounder. Water wins if enemies are Ice-weak or you already own Chain Frost Staff and Frost Bomb.

When should I switch to Fire?

After base level 100, once you have Meteoric Staff, Solar Pulse, Fire Glimmer Card, Fire Bolt Gem, and Meteor Gem. Mana problems? Swap in Staff of Attorneys.

Summary

Late-game damageFire

Start Wind. Hit 100. Swap based on what you're farming, not what looks flashy. Weaver rewards players who match element to matchup — get that right and it's one of the most flexible classes in the game.
