ARC Raiders Bobcat Blueprint Farming Guides

The Bobcat SMG blueprints feels impossible to find mostly because players chase it the hard way—by assuming they must fight through the Locked Gate event every single time. We don't. Our best results come from a hybrid approach: check the fast, open-world spawns first, and only pivot to the massive Locked Gate event when the conditions are perfect.

ARC Raiders Bobcat Blueprint Farming Guides

You aren't just looking for a weapon drop; you are looking for ARC Raiders blueprints. A weapon is a one-time high-roll that you lose when you die. A blueprint allows you to craft the gun permanently (or sell it for 5,000 Coins), which solves your economy long-term.

Route 1: The Speed Run (Pilgrim's Peak)

Best for: Solo players, quick checks, and low risk.

This is the fastest way to get the blueprint without committing to a 20-minute raid. Pilgrim's Peak allows you to roll the dice on high-yield containers without unlocking the right to loot.

Why this works

Because the best containers get hit early, arriving late usually means empty shelves. This means your effective blueprint chance drops to near zero if you don't commit immediately.

The Step-by-Step Loop

1. Spawn and Rush: Commit immediately to Pilgrim's Peak. Do not loot random trash on the way.

2. Target Red Cabinets: Rush the upper/mid-upper interior. We prioritize two red cabinets in the key mid-level area.

3. Check Drawers: If the cabinets are dry, quickly sweep adjacent drawers and any breach containers safely reachable.

4. The Bonus Room: Check the locked room. If you have the key, great. If not, do not stall.

Decision Rules

If you find the Bobcat blueprint here, then extract immediately. Do not get greedy.

If you arrive and the cabinets are already looted, then rotate immediately. Staying is negative value because you are risking your kit for loot that is already gone.

If you hear heavy fighting, then disengage. It is better to reset and run another 5-minute raid than to die fighting over an empty box.

Route 2: The Volume Run (Locked Gate Event)

Best for: Squads, high-value looting, and when you have banked keys.

While Pilgrim's Peak is a sniper shot, the Locked Gate event on the Blue Gate map is a shotgun blast. It spawns multiple breach containers inside a dense underground complex.

The Core Concept: Volume looting

In the open world, you might find one high-tier box every few minutes. In the underground Locked Gate event, you get concentrated loot density.

More containers = More blueprint rolls per minute.

One clean run can yield multiple blueprints (we have seen up to four in a single squad run).

Phase 1: Collecting the 4 Passcodes (The Safe Pocket Strategy)

To open the gate, you need four specific passcodes. Do not try to find them all in one raid unless you are lucky. Instead, bank them.

The Safe Pocket Rule:

As soon as you find a passcode, put it in your Safe Pocket.

Because you keep items in your safe pocket even if you die, this means you can collect keys across 3 different raids and then bring them all in for one dedicated Gate Run.

Where to find the keys:

Location Search Strategy Risk Level Notes
Ancient Fort Full sweep of standard loot containers. Medium Keys often sit in basic boxes here.
Pilgrim's Peak Check inside and vehicles outside. Medium-High You can do this during your Speed Run.
Reinforced Reception Loot the bins inside the reception area. Medium Very consistent spawn location.
Raiders Refuge Prioritize high-value and breach containers. High Expect PvP; grab the key and get out.

Phase 2: Opening the Gate

Head to the warehouse complex in the middle of the map (above the checkpoint).

Approach: Slow down. Campers love these predictable doorways.

Input: Insert all four keys quickly.

Warning: Once the gate opens, you can only enter and exit via the big gates. Ziplines and side entrances will close. This creates a massive choke point.

Phase 3: Underground Looting Priorities

Once inside, do not wander aimlessly.

1. Tier 1 (High Priority): Breach containers and red lockers. These have the highest drop rates.

2. Tier 2 (Volume): Loot every standard bin and box on your path. We have found Bobcat blueprints in trash loot underground simply because the volume is so high.

3. Tier 3 (Skip): Deep dead-end corridors. If it takes too long to walk back, skip it.

Route 3: The Passive Method (Weekly Trials)

Getting three stars in Weekly Trials has a high probability of awarding the Bobcat SMG blueprint.

The Reality: It is not 100% guaranteed, but it is one of the best non-map sources because it sidesteps loot competition entirely.

The Strategy: If you are already playing, focus on hitting that 3-star benchmark. Treat it as a weekly bonus roll, not your primary farming method.

Comparison: Which Route Should You Choose?

Use this table to decide your plan in 10 seconds before you deploy.

Method Speed Risk Loot Volume Best When...
Pilgrim's Peak (No Gate) Fast Medium Low You are solo or want repeatable, quick attempts.
Locked Gate Event Slow HighVery High You have 4 keys banked or a strong squad.
Weekly Trials Passive Low Fixed You are playing normally and want a bonus roll.
Buying/Economy Instant None N/A You just want the cash (Blueprint sells for 5,000).

Critical Tactics for Success

1. The One-Raid Checklist

We recommend a repeatable loop that combines the methods:

1. Start at Pilgrim's Peak: Check the red cabinets. (Route 1).

2. Check for Keys: While there, look for the Pilgrim's Peak passcode.

3. Pivot or Reset:

If you found the blueprint, extract.

If you didn't, but you have keys and the event is active, rotate to the Locked Gate (Route 2).

If the map is empty and looted, extract and reset.

2. Extraction Discipline

The biggest mistake players make is staying too long in the underground.

If you have 2+ blueprints or high-tier loot, then leave immediately.

Because the exit is the same as the entrance, this means the longer you stay, the more likely a team is setting up an ambush at the gate.

FAQ

Q: Do I have to open the Locked Gate to get the Bobcat blueprint?

No. We have found the blueprint via Pilgrim's Peak loot routes and even in random open-world containers without ever touching the gate. The gate is just a way to force higher loot volume.

Q: Can I really keep keys if I die?

Yes, but only if they are in your Safe Pocket. If they are in your backpack, you will lose them. Always move keys to the safe pocket instantly.

Q: What if I don't have a key for the locked room at Pilgrim's Peak?

Don't worry about it. Treat that room as a bonus. If it's locked, move on. Speed is more important than opening one specific door.

Q: Is the blueprint guaranteed from the Weekly Trials?

No, but the probability is high. It is worth doing, but don't rely on it as your only source.

Q: Should I sell the blueprint or learn it?

If you don't have it, learn it. Being able to craft the Bobcat is better than finding it once. If you already know it, sell duplicates for 5,000.

Summary

To efficiently farm the Bobcat blueprint, stop relying on luck and start relying on volume. Run Pilgrim's Peak first for the free, fast roll. If that fails, use your safe pocket to bank keys over several raids until you are ready to dominate the Locked Gate event. By combining these two routes with disciplined extraction timing, you turn the rarest drop in the game into a manageable statistic.
