ARC Raiders Buried City Loot Guide: Fast Route, Blueprint Odds & When to Extract

ARC Raiders Buried City isn't the blueprint printer it used to be. Drop rates dropped. Adapt or get outfarmed.

This is a hybrid value map now. Blueprints, rare valuables, advanced components, gun parts, sensors — you're stacking all of it, not praying for one item type. Play it right and you still walk with 2 blueprints, a Volcano, and a stacked bag. Play it wrong and you waste 15 minutes on empty crates.

ARC Raiders Buried City Loot Guide: Fast Route, Blueprint Odds & When to Extract

Here's the route, the priority list, and the extraction logic that actually works.

The Fast Route

Skip Grandioso (Most of the Time)

Grandioso eats time for weak returns. Quick check only if you spawn right on top of it with an empty bag. Otherwise, rotate past it. Better density waits elsewhere.

Jump-Over Route First

This gets you into good loot fast. Bag's empty, so grab everything:

  • Electrical components
  • Sensors, wires, seeds
  • Simple gun parts
  • Smoke grenades, playing cards, music boxes

Empty backpack earns nothing. Fill it now, upgrade later.

Pointy Roof Building

Reliable mid-route stop.

Item Priority
Advanced electrical componentsVery High
Music box / Playing cards High
Sensors High
Snap blast grenades Medium
Basic ammo Drop first

Find 5+ electrical components here? Keep pushing the route — the raid's already paying off.

Santa Maria Houses

This is where breach rooms and real inventory decisions happen. Blueprint drops here. Protect that slot immediately.

Keep Drop
Blueprints, rare valuables Single antiseptic
Advanced components Loose ammo
Raider hatch key Basic batteries

Blueprint Reality Check

Expect 0–1 blueprint per run. Two is a great raid. Three is a gift.

Run Type Blueprints Move
Weak 0 Extract with materials
Average 1 Keep going if safe
Strong 2 Prep extraction
Exceptional 2+ and a rare weapon Leave now

Why blueprint runs die:

1. You overstay after already winning.

2. You waste time on low-value crates.

3. You keep checking rooms that are clearly already looted.

If doors are open and bars are gone — rotate immediately. That room's dead.

What to Keep vs. Skip

Treat your inventory like a scoreboard. Every new item has to beat what's already in the slot.

Keep

Blueprints, Volcano, advanced electrical components, sensors, Raider hatch key, Exodus modules, magnetic accelerators.

Sell Fast

Music boxes, playing cards — reliable cash, don't hoard them.

Drop First

Loose ammo stacks, single meds, basic batteries, common scraps. If it's not worth being annoyed about losing, drop it.

Advanced components beat low-value ammo stacks every single time. Don't overthink that trade.

Extra Stops (If Time and Bag Allow)

Space Travel — strong if unlooted and you've got a snap hook for fast vertical access. Sixth floor untouched? Check it. Already stripped? Don't linger.

Research 2nd Floor — backup option. Seeds, magnets, sensors. Good filler if the main route's already picked over.

Gun Case Rooms — worth a look near your path.

Find Value
Volcano Excellent
Beretta Good
Bobcat Medium

Pull a Volcano? Strongly consider leaving unless extraction is safe and far.

Combat Awareness

Buried City is loud. Gunfire and ARC noise mask real threats constantly.

  • Player moving away? Let them go.
  • Player following? Prepare to fight.
  • Carrying blueprints? Avoid unnecessary fights.

Keep at least one escape tool if you're holding good loot. A smoke grenade getting you out alive is worth more than another mid-tier component.

When to Extract

Stop asking what if there's more. Ask would losing this bag hurt.

No upgrades in last 2 roomsLeave

Once you commit to extracting: stop just checking containers. That's how good raids turn into dead raids.

Farming Rules

1. Start broad, finish selective. Grab everything early, get ruthless late.

2. Don't force weak areas. Grandioso feels dry? Leave. There's always another spot.

3. Blueprints lower your risk tolerance. One blueprint = play careful. Two = extraction is the objective.

4. Stack efficiency wins. A full stack of sensors beats three random single items.

5. Random crates aren't worth your life. Two weak pulls in a row — move on.

6. Leave while it's good. One more room has ended more good raids than any ARC unit ever has.

FAQ

Is Buried City still worth farming?

Yes — as a mixed-value map, not a pure blueprint farm. Rare valuables, components, weapons, and stackable materials carry the profit now.

How many blueprints per raid, realistically?

0–1 on average. Two in one raid is a strong signal to extract, not push further.

Should I loot Grandioso?

Only if you spawn right next to it with an empty bag. Otherwise skip — the jump-over route pays better per minute.

What items should I always keep?

Blueprints, Volcano, advanced electrical components, sensors, Raider hatch key, Exodus modules, magnetic accelerators.

When do I extract?

Two blueprints, a rare weapon, or a full bag of valuables — extract. Don't wait for the timer to force your hand.

Bottom Line

Buried City isn't dead — it's just less forgiving for blueprint gamblers. Move fast, skip dead zones, stack efficiently, and pull out the moment the bag is good.

One blueprint: protect the run. Two blueprints: start leaving. Two blueprints plus a Volcano: the raid already did its job — go home.
