Star Citizen 4.10 aUEC Ship Guide: Hull B, Aurora MR II, Golem OX, L22, UTV Prices & Locations

Patch 4.10 dropped five new aUEC ships and vehicles. One of them — the Hull B — is a genuine big deal. The rest range from buy immediately to cool, but not urgent.

Star Citizen 4.10 aUEC Ship Guide: Hull B, Aurora MR II, Golem OX, L22, UTV Prices & Locations

Here's the no-fluff breakdown: where to buy, how much you'll pay, and what order to save for them in.

Quick Price Table

Ship / Vehicle Manufacturer Best Location Price Rentable?
Hull B MISC Lorville New Deal7,500,000 aUEC No
Aurora MR II RSI Lorville New Deal904,932 aUEC Yes — 22,623 aUEC
Golem OX Drake Lorville New Deal1,149,000 aUEC No
L22 Kruger Area18 Astro Armada4,536,000 aUEC No
Greycat UTV Greycat Area18 / Checkmate75,600 aUEC No

Bottom line: Lorville New Deal's 5% discount makes it the best hub in the whole patch. Check it first before anywhere else.

MISC Hull B — The Headline Ship

Finally purchasable in-game. Two locations:

  • Lorville New Deal: 7,500,000 aUEC (best price)
  • Teasa Spaceport: 7,938,000 aUEC

That's a 438,000 aUEC gap. Buy at Lorville, no debate.

Not rentable anywhere. If you want it, you're buying it outright — no test drive.

Who should buy it: cargo runners and org logistics players. This is a career ship, not an impulse buy. If you already own a bigger hauler, the Hull B still earns its keep as a flexible mid-tier option. Casual haulers should wait for Live pricing before committing 7.5 mil.

RSI Aurora MR II — Replaces the MR I

The MR I is gone. MR II takes its place at 904,932 aUEC, sold at both Teasa Spaceport and Lorville New Deal.

Rent it first — Lorville offers it for 22,623 aUEC. Test before you drop nearly a million.

Modules:

  • Cargo Module: ~19,000 aUEC, scattered across Nyx/Stanton/Pyro shops
  • Defense Module: unconfirmed in this PTU build — look for something labeled Aurora MR II DM Module

Verdict: starter-tier ship, low stakes. New players rent it. Veterans skip unless collecting.

Drake Golem OX — Stanton vs Pyro Tradeoff

  • Lorville New Deal: 1,149,000 aUEC
  • Checkmate, Pyro: 1,209,000 aUEC

Only a 60,000 aUEC gap. Not huge, but it adds up.

Rule of thumb: Stanton-based? Buy at Lorville. Pyro-based? Just buy it at Checkmate — the travel cost to Stanton eats the savings anyway.

Not rentable. Useful, not essential — file this under buy if you're a Drake fan or need ground utility, not must-have.

Kruger L22 — Expensive and Niche

Area18 Astro Armada only: 4,536,000 aUEC. Not rentable.

This is a luxury fighter, not an income ship. Black-and-red styling, strong visual identity, zero spreadsheet value.

Buy order matters here: get your income ship (Hull B) sorted first. The L22 is what you buy after your economy loop is stable, not before.

Greycat UTV — Best Value in the Patch

75,600 aUEC at Area18 Astro Armada or Checkmate (same price both places).

4 seats, 4 SCU cargo bed. Cheapest item on this list and arguably the most immediately useful one.

If you own a large or XL hangar, this fixes a real problem — no more walking across your entire hangar every trip. Group play makes it even better with 4 seats to split up.

Buy this first. Full stop. Low cost, instant utility, zero regret purchase.

Shopping Routes by System

Stanton Route

1. Lorville New Deal → Hull B, Golem OX, Aurora MR II

2. Lorville Rental Terminal → rent Aurora MR II if testing

3. Area18 Astro Armada → L22, UTV

Pyro Route

1. Checkmate → UTV, Golem OX

2. Lorville (if traveling) → Hull B, discounted Golem OX

3. Area18 → L22 if wanted

Skip cargo center rental terminals (checked at Baijini Point) — none of the new ships appear there. Don't waste time checking rentals for the Hull B; go straight to a sales terminal.

Buying Priority (Save in This Order)

Priority Ship Why
1Greycat UTV Cheap, immediately useful
2Hull B Real career/income value
3Aurora MR II Affordable, rentable, low risk
4Golem OX Useful, not urgent
5L22 Style purchase, buy last

Tools before toys. Get your income ship and your utility vehicle sorted, then splurge on the L22.

FAQ

Where's the cheapest place to buy the Hull B?

Lorville New Deal at 7,500,000 aUEC — 438,000 aUEC cheaper than Teasa Spaceport.

Can I rent the Hull B?

No. Not rentable at any checked terminal in this PTU build. Buy outright or skip it for now.

Where can I rent the Aurora MR II?

Lorville, for 22,623 aUEC. Test it before spending 904,932 aUEC to buy.

Is the Golem OX cheaper in Stanton or Pyro?

Stanton. Lorville New Deal sells it for 1,149,000 aUEC vs. 1,209,000 aUEC at Checkmate in Pyro.

Is the Greycat UTV worth buying?

Yes — 4 seats, 4 SCU cargo, 75,600 aUEC. Best value item in the entire patch, especially with a large hangar.

Summary

Lorville New Deal is the MVP location this patch — cheapest Hull B, Golem OX, and Aurora MR II, plus the only rental option. Grab the UTV immediately regardless of your build; it's cheap and solves a real problem. Save hard for the Hull B if you're serious about cargo. Everything else — Golem OX, L22 — is optional flavor once your core loop is set. Prices are PTU-only and may shift before Live, so verify before you commit big aUEC.
