ARC Raiders Best Loot Conditions: Where to Farm Keys, Blueprints, and Weapons

ARC Raiders Best Loot Conditions: Where to Farm Keys, Blueprints, and Weapons

The biggest difference between raid conditions is often not the normal container loot pool, but the lucky ARC Raiders loot pool.

That explains why the same container can feel average in one raid and suddenly valuable in another. If we want better weapons, more keys, or specific blueprints, the smart move is not just looting more containers. It's choosing the right map condition for the loot we want.

How Lucky Loot Seems to Work

From repeated container testing, loot appears to follow three steps:

  • 1. The container rolls its normal item count
  • 2. It fills those slots from its standard loot pool
  • 3. It may roll one extra lucky item

That lucky item can be:

  • a weapon
  • a key
  • a blueprint

This matters because lucky loot seems to change significantly by map condition.

Why this matters in practice

If a container normally gives 3–4 items and you open one with 5, that extra item is likely a lucky roll.

The important part is not just whether lucky loot appears, but what that lucky loot can become under each raid condition.

To compare conditions fairly, we used:

  • Map: Buried City
  • Locations: Space Travel and Research
  • Conditions: Day Raid, Cold Snap, Hurricane, Night Raid
  • Sample: roughly 176–180 containers per condition

This sample is enough to show loot patterns and pool differences, though not enough to prove exact long-term drop rates.

Results by Raid Condition

Here's the clearest breakdown of what we found.

ConditionContainersKeysBlueprintsWeaponsMain Takeaway
Day Raid 176 5 1 9 Weak lucky loot, mostly low-tier weapons
Cold Snap 180 11 11 6 Best for key and blueprint farming
Hurricane 176 1 3 5 Mixed and inconsistent
Night Raid 178 6 3 notable drops several Strong value, better keys, unique blueprints

Day Raid

Day raids are fine for standard loot runs, but weak for high-value lucky loot.

We found:

  • 15 lucky rolls from 176 containers
  • mostly low-tier weapons like Hairpin, Rattler, and Kettle
  • only 1 blueprint
  • only 5 keys

What this means: if you're hunting weapons, keys, or blueprints, Day Raid is usually the wrong choice.

Cold Snap

Cold Snap gave the best overall farming value in this test.

We found:

  • 11 keys
  • 11 blueprints
  • 6 weapons
  • roughly 15% lucky roll rate

This condition stood out for:

  • strong key volume
  • high-value attachment blueprints
  • better progression loot overall

If you are farming keys or blueprints, Cold Snap is the best option here.

Hurricane

Hurricane was the hardest condition to trust.

We found:

  • 1 key
  • 3 blueprints
  • 5 weapons

There were some decent items, including better attachments and a few stronger weapon outcomes, but the overall results were uneven.

What this means: Hurricane may still have upside, but based on this sample, it was less reliable than Cold Snap or Night Raid.

Night Raid

Night Raid delivered strong value, especially if we already have useful keys.

We found:

  • 6 keys
  • 2 Wolfpack blueprints
  • 1 Tempest blueprint
  • some green-tier lucky weapon rolls that became level 2 weapons

That last part matters. In weaker conditions, green-tier weapon rolls often end up as level 1.

Why Night Raid is good:

  • better overall loot value
  • stronger key room payoff
  • access to unique blueprints
  • better weapon quality than standard raids

Best Conditions by Farming Goal

Here's the practical version.

GoalBest ConditionWhy
KeysCold Snap Best key volume in testing
BlueprintsCold Snap Strongest blueprint frequency
Unique blueprintsNight Raid Best for Wolfpack and premium blueprint targets
Lucky weaponsLocked Gate Best high-end lucky weapon pool
General safe lootingDay Raid Acceptable for routine materials and trinkets

The pattern is clear:

  • Locked Gate for top-end lucky weapons
  • Cold Snap for keys and blueprints
  • Night Raid for balanced high-value runs
  • Day Raid for routine loot only

Practical Farming Advice

We should adjust our runs based on what we need.

If you need keys

Run Cold Snap. Keep the useful keys and scrap the junk ones.

If you need blueprints

Run Cold Snap first, then Night Raid if you are targeting unique drops like Wolfpack.

If you want better weapon upside

Prioritize Locked Gate. If that is not available, Night Raid is the next best option.

If you keep getting bad lucky loot

It may not be bad RNG alone. You may simply be farming inside a weaker lucky loot pool.

That distinction saves a lot of wasted time.

FAQ

What is lucky loot?

An extra container roll that seems to pull from a separate pool, including weapons, keys, and blueprints.

How do we spot a lucky roll?

If a container drops more items than its usual range, that extra item is likely lucky loot.

Is Day Raid worth farming?

Yes for basic loot, no for high-value lucky loot.

What is the best condition for keys?

Cold Snap, based on this test.

What is the best condition for unique blueprints?

Night Raid, especially for Wolfpack.

Summary

The main lesson is simple: if we want better loot, we need to care about map condition as much as container choice.

Day Raids are workable but low upside. Cold Snap is the best condition for farming keys and blueprints. Night Raid is excellent for overall value and unique blueprint hunting. Hurricane looks more situational. And Locked Gate remains the strongest option for premium lucky weapon rolls.

The smart farming route is not loot everything. It's loot with purpose under the right condition.
