ARK Genesis Farm Guide: Unlimited Electronics + Dinosuchus Saddle & Tek Helmet Loot Run

Two missions on Genesis Part 1 solve two different problems: no electronics and no Tek helmets. Here's the exact setup for both.

ARK Genesis Farm Guide: Unlimited Electronics + Dinosuchus Saddle & Tek Helmet Loot Run

Electronics Farm: Don't Fear the Reaper King (Gamma)

The mission: Scroll to the bottom of your mission list. Run it on Gamma. Coordinates are ~22, 8. Spawn in and head northwest—closest entry point, saves you a full minute of running.

The mount: Therizinosaurus. Primitive saddle is fine. Put every stat point into Power Harvesting—it directly multiplies electronics per kill. This is not a combat build.

The kit:

Item Why
Therizinosaurus High melee, decent health, cheap to gear
Bulbdog Lights the biome, one-shots Reaper babies
Hazmat suit Only needed if farming during the day
Med brews Lunar Biome hits hard

Radiation trick: Farm at night and skip the hazmat entirely. Radiation drops enough to ignore it. Daytime run? Full hazmat set, no exceptions.

Reaper babies: They spawn alongside tech creatures. Without a Bulbdog, they barely take damage. Kill them for crowd control, not loot—the prime meat they drop is useless mid-farm.

The results:

Time Electronics
~2 min 43
7 min 1,500

You don't need to finish the mission. Cancel it, restart, repeat. Spawns are continuous the whole time it's active—that's the actual unlimited part.

Dinosuchus Saddle + Tek Helmet Farm: Bog Beatdown (Beta, Solo)

Dinosuchus's Gigabyte Bleed shreds brute predators fast. This mission is the most reliable way to get the saddle and a decent tech helmet in one run.

Server rates used: 1x official, 0.7x loot quality. Results scale with your rates.

Loadout:

Item Priority
Flaming Spear Main weapon—throwable, burn damage, best all-round
Enduro Stew Massive melee damage boost, near one-shots weaker mobs
Gas mask Mandatory vs. poison wyverns
5x armor sets Durability drops fast
Food Don't forget it. We did. Twice.

Skip the flamethrower. Great on Gamma, bad here—it forces melee range against enemies that punish you for standing still.

Positioning: Stay near the arena's center. Edge water slows you down and gets you swarmed.

Kill priority:

Enemy Action
Spinosaurus Kill first—hits hardest
Poison Wyverns Dodge clouds, gas mask on
Dilophosaurus Kill on sight, blind damage is annoying
Paraceratherium Throw spears from range, don't melee
Frogs Low threat, kill for knockback control
Broodmother Clear trash first, save damage buffs for her

5-run loot results (Beta):

Item Frequency
Assault Rifles Very common
Dinosuchus Saddles Multiple per session
Parasaur Platform Saddles Common
Tek Helmets Common

Beta already delivers Tek helmets reliably. Alpha loot is better, but the difficulty jump from Beta is brutal—no clean solo clear confirmed yet.

Gamma vs. Beta vs. Alpha

Difficulty Best For Solo?
Gamma Electronics farming Easy
Beta Dinosuchus saddle, Tek helmet Doable with practice
Alpha Best loot rolls Very hard solo

FAQ

Do you need to complete the Reaper King mission to farm electronics?

No. Spawns stay active the whole time. Cancel once your Therizinosaurus is full, restart, repeat.

What's the best stat build for the electronics farm?

All points into Power Harvesting. Combat stats don't matter—this is a resource run, not a fight.

Why use Enduro Stew on Bog Beatdown?

It boosts melee damage enough to near one-shot weaker enemies. If your kills feel slow, this buff fixes it faster than gear upgrades.

Is the flamethrower good for Bog Beatdown?

No. It's strong on Gamma missions but forces close range here, which gets you swarmed. Stick with the Flaming Spear.

Can Bog Beatdown be soloed on Alpha?

Technically yes, but no clean solo clear has been confirmed. The difficulty spike from Beta is steep—expect much stronger gear requirements.

Bottom Line

Run Reaper King on Gamma for electronics. Run Bog Beatdown on Beta for Dinosuchus saddles and Tek helmets. Chain both, and gear progression stops being a bottleneck.
