Bee Swarm Simulator Progression Guide: Best Gear Order from Early Game to Endgame

Bee Swarm Simulator progression gets confusing fast. One minute we're buying basic backpacks, and the next we're worrying about Spirit Petals, Diamond Eggs, Supreme Star Amulets, hive colors, and whether blue hive is still the safest choice. This guide keeps things simple: what to buy, when to buy it, and why it matters.

Bee Swarm Simulator Progression Guide: Best Gear Order from Early Game to Endgame

The main idea is this: do not rush expensive upgrades just because they are available. Good progression comes from buying gear in the right order, saving rare materials, and choosing a hive color only when your account is ready.

Early Game: Get to 25 Bees First

Our first real goal is to unlock the 25 Bee Zone. Before that, don't stress too much about perfect hive composition. Just build steady honey income.

Focus on:

  • Buying hive slots.
  • Completing Bear quests.
  • Keeping useful gifted bees.
  • Avoiding random Royal Jelly gambling.
  • Saving rare eggs, especially Diamond Eggs.

Once we reach 25 bees, we unlock the Mountain Top Shop. That is where progression starts to feel more structured.

First Mountain Top Shop Upgrades

Do not immediately dump all your honey into hive slots. Get the basic Mountain Top gear first.

UpgradeWhy We Buy It
Mondo Belt Bag More capacity and better farming comfort.
Beekeeper's Mask Solid pollen boost for this stage.
Beekeeper's Boots Movement speed helps with quests, tokens, and mobs.

In practice, the boots feel better than they look on paper. Faster movement saves time everywhere, especially when we're doing quests across multiple fields.

Mid Game: Porcelain Gear and Hive Slot Timing

After Mountain Top gear, start buying hive slots again. The goal is to reach around 33 bees, then switch priorities.

A good rule:

Progress PointWhat to Do
25 bees Buy Mountain Top gear first.
26–33 bees Buy hive slots steadily.
Next slot costs around 152 million honey Buy Porcelain Dipper.
After Porcelain Dipper Push toward 34–35 bees.
34–35 bees Buy Porcelain Port-O-Hive.

The reason is simple: once hive slots get expensive, Porcelain Dipper gives more value than one extra bee slot. More bees help, but stronger collection speed changes your whole income curve.

Porcelain Port-O-Hive

After Porcelain Dipper, go for the Porcelain Port-O-Hive. If your backpack fills too quickly, you waste field time and lose boost value. Capacity is not exciting, but it is one of the biggest comfort upgrades in mid game.

Ace Shop: Honey Mask or Bubble Mask?

This is where your playstyle matters.

If you mostly play manually, Honey Mask is usually better. If you macro often or plan to go blue later, Bubble Mask makes more sense.

PlaystyleRecommended PathWhy
Manual / active player Honey Mask + Honeycomb Belt Better general farming and active honey gain.
Macro player Bubble Mask + Cobalt Guard Better for blue-style farming and long sessions.
Unsure Cobalt Guard first Safe upgrade that stays useful.

If you do not macro, do not feel behind. Manual players can still progress well through smart questing, boosting, and better gear order. Macro helps, but it does not replace game knowledge.

Before moving deeper into Spirit Bear progression, aim for:

CheckpointTarget
Bees 35
Tool Porcelain Dipper
Backpack Porcelain Port-O-Hive
Mask Honey Mask or Bubble Mask
Guard Cobalt Guard

Spirit Petals: Best Use Order

Spirit Petals are easy to waste because every option looks tempting. For most players, the safest order is:

Spirit PetalBest Use
First Petal Petal Belt or Petal Wand
Second Petal Windy Bee
Third Petal Remaining Petal item

I usually prefer Petal Belt first for long-term value, especially if we farm or macro a lot. Petal Wand is still fine for active players who want better collecting right away.

Windy Bee is strong, but using the first Spirit Petal on Windy can feel bad because it is not guaranteed immediately. Gear gives guaranteed progress.

What About Diamond Mask?

If you already have 5 Diamond Eggs, prioritize Diamond Mask. If not, keep progressing and start saving every Diamond Egg from now on.

Diamond Egg SituationBest Move
Have 5 Diamond Eggs Go for Diamond Mask.
Have 3–4 Diamond Eggs Save them and continue progressing.
Used them already Do not panic; rebuild over time.
Planning blue hive Diamond Mask becomes very important.

This is one of the biggest long-term lessons in Bee Swarm Simulator: do not hatch Diamond Eggs casually. The short-term fun is not worth delaying Diamond Mask.

Late Mid Game: 45 Bees and Coconut Gear

After Spirit Bear progress and better masks, start working toward Coconut gear. Your next big targets are 45 bees, Coconut Canister, and Coconut Clogs.

GoalWhy It Matters
45 bees Stronger hive and better late-game access.
Coconut Canister Huge backpack upgrade.
Coconut Clogs Great movement and utility.
Coconut Crab kills Needed for tropical drinks and materials.

A simple order:

1. Push toward 45 bees.

2. Grind for Coconut Canister.

3. Get Coconut Clogs.

4. Keep killing Coconut Crab regularly.

Even after you buy Coconut gear, keep farming Coconut Crab. Tropical drinks become important later, especially for Coconut Belt. Wasting or ignoring them early creates a painful grind later.

Supreme Star Amulet and Hive Color Choice

Do not fully commit to a hive color before Supreme Star Amulet.

This matters because hive colors depend heavily on SSA passives. A blue hive without Pop Star, a red hive without Scorching Star, or a white hive without Gummy Star will feel weaker than expected.

Hive ColorMain SSA PassiveBest For
Blue Pop Star Macro farming, steady honey, cheaper entry.
Red Scorching Star Active boosting and burst honey.
White Gummy Star Very expensive late-game honey scaling.

For most players, blue is the best first hive color. It is cheaper, easier to build, and works well with macro farming. Red can be great later if you enjoy active boosting. White is powerful, but it is expensive and usually not a good early choice.

When to Choose a Hive Color

Choose your color when you have:

RequirementTarget
Gifted bee types 40 discovered
Amulet Supreme Star Amulet
Materials Enough to rebuild hive
Honey Enough for rolling and changes
Plan Clear blue, red, or white direction

If you do not have SSA yet, stay mixed. A mixed hive is usually better until the right passive is unlocked.

Endgame Gear Paths by Hive Color

Once we have SSA and Coconut gear, progression becomes more color-focused.

Blue Hive Path

Blue is the smoothest first endgame route for many players.

PriorityUpgrade
1 Diamond Mask
2 Pop Star SSA
3 Build blue hive with buoyant/tadpole focus
4 Tide Popper or Petal Planter
5 Better planters and bee levels

If you macro a lot, Tide Popper is a strong goal. If you play more casually or need materials, Petal Planter can be better first.

Red Hive Path

Red works best for active players who enjoy boosting.

PriorityUpgrade
1 Dark Scythe
2 Demon Mask
3 Heat-Treated Planter
4 Petal Planter
5 Hydroponic Planter

Choose red if you like active boost sessions and are ready to invest into a proper red hive setup.

White Hive Path

White can make huge honey, but it is expensive.

PriorityUpgrade
1 Gummy Baller
2 Gummy Mask
3 Gummy Boots
4 Strong Gummy Star SSA
5 High-level gifted hive

White is usually better later, when we already have strong resources, high bee levels, and plenty of boost materials.

Petal Cub Quest Tips

Petal Cub quests are not hard because of one single task. They are hard because they stack many small requirements: bloom petals, puffshrooms, tokens, bubbles, cooldowns, and field-specific farming.

The best approach is to check cooldown tasks first, then grind petals efficiently.

Requirement TypeBest Strategy
Bloom petals Farm fields that match the required color.
Rare puffshrooms Use helpful planters when possible.
Sparkle tokens Use active collection or Night Bells.
Bubbles Blue hive or Bubble Mask helps.
Memory Match Do it whenever cooldown resets.
Samovar / timed tasks Start early so they do not block progress.
Robo Parties Join active servers or coordinate with players.

Useful Petal Farming Notes

Petal ColorGood Farming Idea
Blue Pine Tree Forest is usually reliable.
Yellow Sunflower Field, but expect it to be slow.
White Spider, Coconut, or similar white-focused fields.
Gray Pumpkin can be useful.
Pink Check field-specific requirements carefully.
Violet Often slower; use event areas if available.
Marigold Usually needs patient Sunflower farming.

If a quest asks for petals in a specific field, farm that field. A faster field does not help if it does not count.

Common Progression Mistakes

These are the mistakes that slow players down the most.

MistakeWhy It HurtsBetter Choice
Buying too many hive slots early Gear upgrades may give better value. Buy key gear first.
Spending Diamond Eggs Delays Diamond Mask. Save 5 Diamond Eggs.
Choosing hive color before SSA Weak hive without core passive. Stay mixed until SSA.
Going white too early Too expensive for most accounts. Start blue in early endgame.
Ignoring Coconut Crab Delays Coconut Belt materials. Kill it regularly.
Buying random masks Wastes crafting resources. Match mask to playstyle.
Ignoring cooldown tasks Creates unnecessary waiting. Start timed tasks early.

FAQ

What should we buy first after reaching 25 bees?

Buy Mondo Belt Bag, Beekeeper's Mask, and Beekeeper's Boots before rushing more hive slots. These upgrades make farming smoother and help future honey gain.

When should we buy Porcelain Dipper?

Buy Porcelain Dipper when your next hive slot costs around 152 million honey, usually near 33 bees.

Is Honey Mask or Bubble Mask better?

Honey Mask is better for active manual play. Bubble Mask is better if you macro often or plan to move into blue hive progression.

What is the best first Spirit Petal item?

For most players, Petal Belt is the safest first Spirit Petal choice. Petal Wand is also good for active collecting, but Windy Bee is better saved for later.

Should we go blue, red, or white first?

Most players should go blue first after unlocking SSA. It is cheaper, macro-friendly, and easier to scale. Red and white usually need more investment.

When should we choose a hive color?

Choose a hive color after unlocking Supreme Star Amulet and discovering 40 gifted bee types. Before that, staying mixed is usually more efficient.

Is Petal Cub worth grinding?

Yes, if the event is available and you can manage the requirements. The rewards are strong, and the skin is a nice bonus, but cooldown planning matters more than raw grinding.

Summary

Bee Swarm Simulator progression is easiest when we follow a clean upgrade path instead of buying random expensive items.

The best general route is:

StageMain Goal
Early game Reach 25 bees.
Mountain Top Buy Mondo Belt Bag, Beekeeper's Mask, and Beekeeper's Boots.
Mid game Get Porcelain Dipper and Porcelain Port-O-Hive.
Ace Shop Choose Honey Mask for manual or Bubble Mask for macro.
Spirit Bear Use Spirit Petals carefully.
Late mid game Save Diamond Eggs and get Diamond Mask when possible.
Coconut stage Get 45 bees, Coconut Canister, and Coconut Clogs.
Early endgame Unlock SSA and choose hive color.
Endgame Build blue, red, or white around the correct passive.

If you feel stuck, check your bottleneck first. Most slowdowns come from weak gear, poor capacity, missing Diamond Eggs, no SSA, or choosing a hive color too early. Fix the bottleneck, and the next stage becomes much easier.
