CoD Black Ops 6: SAUG Build – Close-Range Warfare Efficiency

The Saug submachine gun (SMG) is a standout choice for close-range engagements in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It was introduced in Season 1 and has quickly gained popularity among players who like to play fast and aggressively. To make the most of this compact yet powerful SMG, GGWTB has come up with the definitive guide to the ultimate SAUG loadout.

CoD Black Ops 6: SAUG Build – Close-Range Warfare Efficiency

What Makes the SAUG Special?

The SAUG is a lightweight, high-mobility SMG that excels in tight spaces and close-quarters combat. Its range is limited compared to other weapons but its great maneuverability coupled with decent damage makes it very lethal when used by the right person. A player who likes rushing and flanking enemies will find this weapon particularly rewarding.

The Most Effective SAUG Loadout

For the SAUG to be at its peak, a loadout that prioritizes mobility, recoil control and sustained fire is necessary.

Attachments:

Muzzle: Compensator -  It reduces recoil making it easier to control while firing for an extended period of time.

Barrel: Long Barrel  -  Boosts weapon's performance in mid-range encounters by extending effective range.

Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip - It tightens shot groupings by further reducing vertical recoil.

Magazine: Extended Mag I - Relieving you of constant reloading with increased magazine capacity from 36 to 45 rounds.

Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip - This increases your ADS speed allowing you to aim faster during gunfights which require snap decisions.

Stock: Infiltrator Stock - Enable you to move faster when aiming hence helping you stay mobile and escape from attacks associated with camping styles.

Fire Mods: Recoil Springs - It helps in reducing more recoil as a result making it suitable for rapid fire.

How This Loadout Works

This build seeks to amplify the strengths of the SAUG while eliminating its weaknesses:

1. Recoil Control - The combination of Compensator, Recoil Springs, and Vertical Foregrip ensures stable shooting with SAUG during long-range battles thus improving landing consecutive shots on target.

2. Mobility - You can move fast and aim well with Ergonomic Grip and Infiltrator Stock so important when fighting in close quarters.

3. Extended Mag I provides an additional magazine slot which makes it easier to eliminate multiple targets without reloading.

4. Long Barrel increases the SAUG's effective range by a little, resulting in satisfactory performance during short skirmishes from mid-range when needed.

Important Note: Wildcard Selection

To use all eight attachments listed above you will need to equip the Gunfighter Wildcard. You unlock this Wildcard at player level 33 so make sure you have already done that before attempting this build.

Other Options for Assault Rifle Users

If SMGs such as SAUG don't fit your playstyle and prefer weapons with more range and flexibility, try exploring assault rifles like the Krig C. This weapon has good accuracy and range thus being able to cover mid- to long-range zones effectively.

Think at the End

If you prefer short distance fights, SAUG is your best bet. With this well-constructed loadout, you will not have any problems in narrow halls and tight rooms. Keep on moving and handling recoil to get the most out of this gun. You can use it to rush objectives or flank enemies on a map.
