THE FINALS Season 11 Tier List: Best Weapons for the Double-Heavy Meta

Double Heavy is running the show this season. Mesh shields, dome shields, and stacked HP pools mean poke damage doesn't cut it anymore. You need weapons that either shred shields, burst Heavies, or punish grouped enemies. Here's what actually works.

THE FINALS Season 11 Tier List: Best Weapons for the Double-Heavy Meta

Why Double Heavy Changed Everything

Two Heavies on a team means more shields, more sustain, more close-range bunkering. Before you pick a weapon, ask:

  • Does it pressure mesh/dome shields?
  • Can it hurt a Heavy before they reset?
  • Does it survive chaotic close-range cashout fights?

If no, drop it. This season punishes slow pokers and reward-free duelists.

CompStrengthWeapon Priority
HH-Medium Very High Sustained DPS + shield breakers
HH-Light Very High Burst damage + flexible range
H-Medium-Light Medium Execution-dependent
H-Light-Light Lower Needs early picks to survive

Heavy Tier List

Heavy is the biggest winner this patch. Barely any dead weight here.

TierWeapons
S Minigun, ShAK-50, KS-23, Lewis Gun
A Sledgehammer, Deagles, SA1216
B Flamethrower, BFR Titan, M60, MGL32, Spear

S Tier

Minigun — The season's biggest winner. Chews through mesh, dome, and HP pools better than anything in the class. Don't stand still spraying — spin up early, commit aggressively, punish grouped teams. Pair it with KS-23 or Lewis Gun.

ShAK-50 — Still elite if your aim is on. Miss into a shielded Heavy and you lose the trade fast — duels are less forgiving now.

KS-23 — Damage got nerfed, utility didn't. Opens walls, drops cashouts, creates angles. Bloom feels inconsistent sometimes, but map-IQ players get more value here than almost any other Heavy weapon.

Lewis Gun — Best mid-range Heavy tool in the game. Dominates rooftop maps (Monaco, Galaxy Estates), holds long cashout lanes. Recoil takes reps to tame.

A Tier

Sledgehammer — Near-S in the right hands. Huge destruction, brutal close-range burst. Falls off if enemies kite/open space.

Deagles — Buffed range and team-shot value. Not oppressive, but flexible and reliable.

SA1216 — Fell out of S. Struggles into mesh/dome and kiting Heavy teams. Still fine if you're already good with it.

B Tier

Flamethrower — Punishes grouped push comps and mesh bunkering. Situational counter-pick.

BFR Titan — Strong with winch combos and headshots, but KS-23 does the job with better utility.

M60 — Usable, but Minigun and Lewis Gun outclass it in their respective ranges.

MGL32 — Chaos value around cashouts, weak into spread-out teams.

Spear — Weaker than Sledgehammer overall. Mains can still make it work.

Medium Tier List

Medium feels restricted by gadgets this season, but the right guns still delete Heavies fast.

TierWeapons
S Revolver, CB-01 Repeater, P90
A FAMAS, Model 1887, KABA
B FCAR, AKM, CL-40, Pike-556, Cerberus
C Dual Blades, Riot Shield

S Tier

Revolver — Heavies have big, slow head hitboxes. Headshot burst = free value.

CB-01 Repeater — Excellent chunk damage and headshot multiplier. Deletes Lights fast in HHL comps, leaving two slow targets behind.

P90 — The sleeper pick. Looks weak on paper, but its TTK into Heavy HP pools and shield uptime is genuinely strong. Does what AKM/FCAR wish they could, with better close-range reliability. Watch this one drop if the meta shifts off double Heavy.

A Tier

FAMAS — Buffed and satisfying. Close to S, held back by class limits.

Model 1887 — Strong into Heavies at close range. Map-dependent — struggles in open areas.

KABA — High-skill semi-auto spam. Great for some, uncomfortable for others long-term.

B Tier

FCAR — Mag size hurts you mid-Heavy-duel. Reload before the kill lands.

AKM — Generic. Fine for beginners, underwhelming for optimizing.

CL-40 — Better than expected. Splash punishes grouped, bunkered Heavies.

Pike-556 — Encourages playing too far back — bad for a class that needs to heal/defib.

Cerberus — Awkward burn timing, hurt indirectly by melee/kick changes.

Light Tier List

Light adapted hard after dash nerfs and melee changes. Fewer safe picks, but the top ones still punish hard.

TierWeapons
S XP-54, LH1, M11, V9S
A ARN-220, 93R
B Throwing Knives, Sword, SH1900, M26 Matter
C SR-84 Sniper, Recurve Bow
D Dagger

S Tier

XP-54 — Consistent mid-range damage, great cloak synergy, chips Heavies safely. The most forgiving S-tier Light weapon.

LH1 — Highest ceiling. Cloak + lined-up headshot = instant fight swing. Punishing if you miss.

M11 — Close-range king. Best on cashout-heavy, tight maps.

V9S — Low recoil, strong dueling. Falls off at range, requires consistent clicking.

A Tier

ARN-220 — Solid at range, but lacks the burst/cloak synergy that defines this meta.

93R — Dependable, not flashy. Never a throw pick.

B Tier

Throwing Knives — High skill ceiling, works well vs shields, punishes bad spacing.

Sword — Right-click mobility is basically a mini-dash. Problem: hard to close distance with all the destruction/sightlines this season.

SH1900 — Explosive but short-lived. Isolate and leave before the team turns on you.

M26 Matter — Hurt by melee/kick nerfs, needs a small buff to compete.

C/D Tier

SR-84 Sniper — Not terrible, but too many players sit too far back. Damage that doesn't win the cashout is wasted damage.

Recurve Bow — Slower kill time, weaker combos post-dash-nerf. Hard to justify over LH1/XP-54.

Dagger — Dash nerfs killed its engage pattern. Most Dagger mains have moved to Sword.

FAQ

What's the best weapon in Season 11?

No single best, but the meta-defining picks are Minigun, KS-23, Lewis Gun, Revolver, CB-01 Repeater, P90, XP-54, LH1, M11. They all either shred shields, burst Heavies, or secure fast picks.

Is KS-23 still good after the nerf?

Yes. Damage dropped, but the utility didn't — opening walls, dropping cashouts, and creating angles is still elite-level map control.

Why is P90 suddenly S tier?

Because sustained fire is king into Heavy HP pools and shields right now. It's not flashy, but the numbers work into this specific meta.

Best Light weapon for ranked?

XP-54 for consistency. LH1 if your aim can carry. M11 if you live in close-range brawls.

Should I just chase the meta?

No. A mastered B-tier beats a clunky S-tier. But if your main is bleeding vs shields and HP stacking, it's worth having a meta pick in reserve.

Bottom Line

Season 11 rewards durability-breaking damage over patience. Heavy: Minigun, KS-23, ShAK-50, Lewis Gun. Medium: Revolver, CB-01, P90. Light: XP-54, LH1, M11, V9S.

Build your loadout around whatever's actually beating you — shields, surviving Heavies, or indoor brawls. Adapt to this season instead of forcing last patch's habits.
