Most players do not consider the ARC Raiders Blue gate area in the game, but it can provide as much high quality loot as the Buried City if you know how to solve the puzzles as well as the loot mechanics in Blue gate.

Blue gate has two large puzzles that provide a loot chest guaranteed to give a weapon, as well as an entire area full of villages which have housing and offer hoards of loot.
In this game, Blue gate is the usability and the housing system it the game. We have developed the most efficient route, and in this we will explain the battery and button puzzles. We complete this run to obtain the rare blueprint for the Vita Shot and many others.

- Summary
Before we go in, we need to talk about how this is designed for a combat run. The focus is loot, not combat and you will need to run fast to do it. We recommend carrying as little as possible to maximize speed.

| Item | Choice | Reasoning |
|---|---|---|
| Class | Looting MK2 | It's inexpensive when considering crafting or purchasing it, but most importantly, it has three trinket slots. This lets us maximize value when we extract. |
| Weapon | Renegade 4 | A fully equipped Renegade has enough stopping power fit for PvP defense, and is affordable. |
| Utility | Adrenaline Shots | Crucial for fast movement of heavy batteries during extraction runs. |
| Gadget | Zipline | Extremely useful for traversing levels, particularly in the Village and Refuge. |

↖ PHASE 1: THE ANCIENT FORT PUZZLE
When the match starts we will most likely be able to spawn near the Maintenance Bunker. Quickly check the lockers for goop or resin, but do not spend time searching. Your main goal is the Ancient Fort.

This place has a battery puzzle which most players find very frustrating, which is why it is not usually looted. The mechanism requires players to locate batteries that are dispersed throughout the fort and place them in the center mechanism.
↖ The Outside-In Battery Strategy
Most players make the mistake of taking batteries close to the spawn point. Don't do this.
1. Perimeter Scouting: Depending on the spawn point, batteries may pierot directly to the mechanism and then some spawn point near the castle walls, or close to distant roaming fort buildings.
2. Longest Haul First: Try to remember what the furthest battery spawn point is and get it. If you've already gotten a battery that's closer to the mechanism, you'll get your ducker.
3. Adrenaline Shot Usage: If you've got a poor spawn, you'll want to speed the process up and get your shot.
Pro Tip: Pay attention to the tower. There are two batteries that may spawn at the top of the tower. If you plan to look for the last one and overlook it's possibility, then you'll go in circles.
Once the batteries are in, immediately slide down the ladder. The first guaranteed spawn is a Weapon Case a high tier possible loot, and it includes the ultra rare Vita Shot blueprint that we've consistently looted in the last runs.
↖ A Note on PvP
You are at risk while doing this puzzle. We frequently see people sitting at the entrance or on the ridge above the fort. If you hear footsteps, keep still in the puzzle room or use the height of the fort. Just recently, we eliminated a camper here who donated a Snap Hook and a modified Toro to our cause. PvP is uncommon here, but it is always a good idea.
↖ Phase 2: The Raiders Refuge Puzzle
Once you finish the fort, move on to Raiders Refuge. This puzzle is a bit different, it's another button hunt.

You'll need to shoot multiple buttons located throughout the area to yoink the cache. If you don't know where the buttons are, this could take a very long time.
↖ Common Button Hiding Spots
As you arrive and find the door locked, try these first:
- The Cracks: The gaps of the walls of the main building.
- The Corners: The lower deck, and especially the corners.
- The Roof Vents: A button is often sitting on top of the ventalition units on the roof.
- The Adjacent House: Don't just focus on the main building. The smaller house next door may have the final button hiding in a window frame or door jam.
Once unlocked, this room typically has a bunch of weapon crates and some loose loot. It's a quick, and easy (and profitable), loot run that a lot of people skip because they don't want to use ammo looking for buttons.
↖ Phase 3: The Village Loot Loop
If you've managed to save a lot of loot, the Village is where you will lose that.
The Village is like a smaller version of the Buried City Residential area. The loot table is surprisingly similar.
- Residential Buildings: We consistently find Red Coral Jewelry and Ruined Accordions (great for springs) in the drawers.
- Kitchens: Kitchens in the three-story buildings are often overlooked and they are a prime spot for chemicals and plastic
- Rooftop Entry: Use your Zipline or ladders to enter from the roof. It is safer and lets you clear the building top-down.
Why this matters:
Even if you don't get a blueprint at the puzzles, the Village raw trinket value makes this run profitable. Filling our three trinket slots makes us leave the Village with over 100k raw value.
↖ Extraction Strategy
The match timer will run low (probably under 10 minutes) by the time you should be finishing the Village.
- Check the Map: Without a Hatch Key, you will have to rely on standard extracts.
- Stamina Watch: Open fields should be avoided if you used all your Adrenaline on the batteries.
- Ziplines: Scavs or player squads below your level
This route makes Blue gate go from a flyover map to a very exciting, consistent high-value farming loop. You have the puzzles, guaranteed weapon cases, and Village consistent profit.
↖ FAQ
Q: Is the Security Breach skill needed for this run?
A: No. Although Security Breach does provide access to some additional doors at the Ancient Fort, the primary loot is found at the battery puzzle and the weapon cases, both of which are skill-less.
Q: How many batteries are required for the Fort puzzle?
A: The answer is slightly variable per instance, but the answer is typically 3 as there are 3 main batteries to find. Be sure to check the top of the tower and the perimeter walls at the farthest walls first.
Q: Is the Vita Shot blueprint a guarantee?
A: No blueprint is a 100% guarantee. However, the weapon case found at the Ancient Fort puzzle room has a much higher chance of a rare blueprint than you would typically find at a weapon case.
Q: Is it possible to do this run by myself?
A: Yes, for sure. The guide is primarily pertaining to the run being either a solo or a duo. The puzzles can all be done by one person, though with 2 it is a little more efficient for moving batteries.
↖ Summary
Blue gate is considered one of the best farming spots for both guaranteed rewards and valuable scavenging. If you learn the Ancient Fort battery logic (furthest first) and know the Raiders Refuge button spawn locations, you can obtain weapon cases that a lot of players miss. Then, do a sweep of the Village to clog your trinket slots. This creates an excellent low-risk, high-reward loop for farming valuable blueprints, such as the Vita Shot.
