Best Easy 30K Hexagon Farm on Genesis in ARK Survival Ascended

Genesis Hexagons disappear fast. Saddles, resources, gear, and convenience all eat through them.

The cleanest farm I've used is Alpha King Slayer in the Volcanic biome. It pays 30,720 Hexagons, takes about 5–8 minutes, and can be done solo with a properly built Deinosuchus.

The fight is simple: Giga Bite, back off, reset stamina, repeat.

The danger is also simple: miss Giga Bite, get stuck, or fight during an eruption — and you can lose the run fast.

This farm works because Deinosuchus hits hard, tanks well, and does not waste stat points on oxygen. More useful levels go into health and melee, which is exactly what this mission needs.

Recommended Deinosuchus Stats for King Slayer Alpha

You do not need a perfect boss-line creature. You do need enough stats to survive mistakes.

SetupMinimumComfortable Target
Health22,000+28,000–35,000+
Melee Damage500%+650%+
Saddle Armor50+70+
Stamina Usable Enough to chase and escape

A tested setup was:

  • 28.6K health
  • 675% melee
  • 73 armor saddle

That cleared Alpha King Slayer even with a messy missed bite mid-run. Cleaner play makes it much safer.

Best Saddle Source

Farm Bog Beatdown for Deinosuchus saddles. A saddle around 70 armor is already good enough for consistent clears.

If your saddle is under 50 armor, run lower difficulty first or expect tighter margins.

King Slayer Alpha Location on Genesis

King Slayer Alpha is in the Volcanic biome.

Fast route:

1. Open the mission list.

2. Select Volcanic Biome.

3. Track King Slayer Alpha.

4. Teleport to Volcanic Hard East.

5. Re-track the mission after teleporting if it resets.

6. Head roughly 500 meters south to the terminal.

Do not start the mission if the volcano is erupting. Wait it out. The environmental damage can delete your run before the brute does.

How to Beat Alpha King Slayer Fast

The strategy is not to face-tank forever. We use Giga Bite windows.

Combat Loop

StepAction
1 Follow tracks until the brute spawn area
2 Stop and recover stamina before the spawn
3 Let the brute approach or roar
4 Land Giga Bite
5 Turn away and create distance
6 Let damage tick while avoiding hits
7 Kill minions only if they block you
8 Repeat until dead

The best opening is during the brute's roar animation. It gives you a clean bite window with less incoming damage.

Flat ground matters. If the brute is above you on a rock or slope, Giga Bite can miss. That is the most common way this run goes bad.

When to Cancel the Mission

Use mission cancel aggressively. Losing a Deinosuchus and saddle is not worth one payout.

ProblemBest Move
Missed Giga Bite and brute is still on youCancel
Stuck on rocksCancel if health drops fast
Volcano starts eruptingLeave / wait
Health is low before final phaseCancel
Bad terrain angle Reposition or cancel

If you miss one Giga Bite but the brute runs off or gets stuck, you can recover. But that is luck, not strategy.

For repeat farming, treat a missed key bite as a reset trigger.

Extra Tips for Consistent 30K Hexagon Runs

  • Start only when the volcano is calm.
  • Enter every spawn with full or near-full stamina.
  • Fight on flat ground whenever possible.
  • Use the brute's roar for free Giga Bite timing.
  • Do not let small enemies body-block you.
  • Cancel early if the run turns ugly.
  • Upgrade saddle armor before chasing faster clears.

This is a farming route, not a pride fight. A clean reset beats a dead mount every time.

King Slayer Alpha Rewards

Reward TypeDetails
Hexagons30,720
Time5–8 minutes
Loot Basilisk saddles, riot armor, riot shields, pikes, mixed gear
Loot Value Secondary bonus

The loot is not the reason to run this. Some drops are useful, but the real value is the reliable 30K Hexagon payout.

King Slayer vs We Will Rock You

MissionReliabilityVerdict
King Slayer Alpha High Best easy 30K Hexagon farm
We Will Rock You Alpha Medium Works, but less consistent
Lower King Slayer tiers High Good for testing stats

If your Deinosuchus handles Alpha King Slayer comfortably, then try other Alpha missions. For pure Hexagon farming, King Slayer is the safer pick.

FAQ

What is the best easy 30K Hexagon farm on Genesis?

Alpha King Slayer in the Volcanic biome is one of the best easy farms. It gives 30,720 Hexagons and can be cleared in about 5–8 minutes with a strong Deinosuchus.

What Deinosuchus stats do I need for Alpha King Slayer?

Aim for at least 22K health, 500% melee, and a 50+ armor saddle. For smoother runs, use around 28K+ health, 650%+ melee, and a 70+ armor saddle.

Where is King Slayer Alpha on Genesis?

Track King Slayer Alpha from the Volcanic mission list, then teleport to Volcanic Hard East. After teleporting, re-track the mission and travel about 500 meters south to the terminal.

Should I cancel if I miss Giga Bite?

Yes, if the brute keeps attacking. A missed Giga Bite can cost too much health. Cancel the mission, reset, and protect your mount.

Can I farm King Slayer Alpha during a volcano eruption?

Do not do it. The eruption can add sudden heavy damage and ruin the fight. Wait until the volcano is calm, then start the mission.

Summary

Alpha King Slayer is a fast, reliable Genesis Hexagon farm when done correctly.

Bring a strong Deinosuchus, preferably around 28K health, 650% melee, and a 70+ armor saddle. Teleport to Volcanic Hard East, track the mission, and use Giga Bite during safe openings.

The rule is simple:

  • Hit Giga Bite
  • Back off
  • Keep stamina ready
  • Avoid eruptions
  • Cancel bad runs

Do that, and you can pull 30,720 Hexagons per clear in about 5–8 minutes without needing a full team or complicated setup.
