Following the FTU1 update, a lot of players realized weapon selection impacted the video game experience in a much deeper way! So, today we evaluate weapons considering the speedrun clear time, overall enjoyment of gameplay, and ease of use. We explain what makes certain weapons special and why they earned the ranks they did in our tier list.

Before getting to the list, We would like to clarify that all weapons in Wilds are, in fact, usable. As always, player satisfaction should be put on the forefront. For this particular tier list, we focused on three core criteria:
- Speedrun Clear Time: Evaluated with the latest speedrun clear times available on a tempered Arkveld.
- Fun Gameplay: A weapon should be enjoyable to use, not just be powerful.
- Controls And Skill Ceiling: The best accessible weapons reward skillful play.
All speedrun data was collected from the fastest clear available on Youtube. The enjoyability and usability aspects stemmed from community feedback and personal experience.
