There has been a great deal of excitement in the gaming community with the release of the Blossom Dance Festival in Monster Hunter Wilds. This event marks the beginning of seasonal festivals like those implemented in Monster Hunter World and Iceborne. Just like with World, the newest installment is also receiving an event system that seems to take a greater focus. The new event is also accompanied by a player scale increase for user engagement with the game. The article focuses on explaining the structure of the event so that players can fully enjoy the festival without leaving any of the exclusive features unutilized.

↖ Festival Highlights
Having logged into the Wilds, players are instructed to go to the Grand Hub and are welcomed with an introductory cutscene revealing the aesthetic changes brought by the festival. Staff members within the hub are seen wearing especially new festival costume, further contributing to the immersive feel.

↖ Special Meal and Tickets
At the Grand Hub Canteen, a special limited time cuisine becomes available for events. However, partaking of this bonuses uses tickets which are earned during daily logins and through some limited time bounties. This meal brings some defender and riser skills but does fall behind other meal options in terms of usefulness. It's new appealing visuals make it worth the time to experience, even if just for one time.
↖ Sakura Tide Alpha Armor Set and Blossom Dance Tickets
The armor pieces are obtained as login awards and blossom dance tickets. The tickets are required for the Sakura Tide Alpha Armor Set to disguise oneself in a unique way. In appearance, this new Sakura Tide Alpha armor set is just as pretty as the others in the set and looks good on both men and women. Though the set provides a decent five levels of foray and other skills like quick sheath, item prolonger, and adaptability, its worth in combat seems limited. Admittedly, the set's decoration slots of combat builds are scarce and so, its value largely depends on the set bonus, which is still good when using the armor during the event.

↖ Group Bonus: Festival Spirit Carving Master
Players can take advantage of this new bonus carving master spirit and Festival Spirit for an extra carve on quests for the new armor set. Overall, armor use will not change dramatically, but the option is nice and presents good hones.
↖ Obtaining System of Tickets
The tickets can also be acquired from login bonuses and have new daily missions for them too. All of these versions are more or less daily bounties with other specific expectations revolving this period. Completing missions unlocks covering rewards including heavy armor spheres which makes the construction of armor sets a lot easier.
↖ Event-Specific Quests and Yet More Rewards
New event quests have been added as additional reward milestones. These event quests offer intriguing as well as new crafting MH Wilds materials.
Some of the noteworthy quests are:
- Won't Work on Me: Attributes as loot for hunting a tempered Shiu Woo in Viveria are providing headgear pertaining to eye customization.
- Daughters of Kabas: Rewards Blossom tickets to craft the returning Blossom armor set from Monster Hunter World.
- Gravios Blockade: Provides ingredients for village meals and meal vouchers.
- Chemicus Nocturnus: Provides fire stones and ore materials.
- Careening Out of Control: Gives initial timeframe players focused rewards such as armorspheres.

↖ Other Features
All players receive one new sacred decoration for an account's first login during the festival. Other offerings are the pop-up camp decoration's new options, Blossom Blizzard gesture, and more. Palico gear and Blossom Barrel Bombs provide additional enjoyment with their playful animated effects.

↖ Final Thoughts
As is clear, the latest Monster Hunter Wilds update added plenty of new content to engage with. The highlighted features ensure armset advancement is possible for both new and avid players.
