Star Citizen AFK Commodity Loop Guide: Make aUEC in Stanton

This is a low-attention Stanton cargo loop built for haulers who want solid profit without staring at the screen every second. In our run, the route made 884K aUEC in about 75 minutes, with roughly 25 minutes of actual hands-on time.

Star Citizen AFK Commodity Loop Guide: Make aUEC in Stanton

The loop is simple: buy at station, autoload or manual load, take an indirect quantum route, sell at the next stop, repeat.

Best Ship and Starting Requirements

You can run this loop with smaller haulers, but the route gets much better once you have real cargo space.

RequirementRecommendation
Minimum cargo space48 SCU+
Best cargo range300–500+ SCU
Starting locationSeraphim Station
Main risk Pirate interception and cargo loss
Best playstyle Semi-AFK hauling

Do not spend your full wallet on one cargo load. Cargo hauling punishes greed. Keep backup cash.

If losing one load would bankrupt you, scale down.

This is the full Stanton loop. It starts and ends at Seraphim Station, so you can repeat it without repositioning.

Total profit:884,225 aUEC

Total time: about 75 minutes

Active time: about 25 minutes

Estimated profit per elapsed hour: about 707K aUEC/hour

The standout leg is Iron from Everus Harbor to Terra Gateway. It had the best return at 841 aUEC per SCU.

Step-by-Step Stanton Cargo Route

1. Seraphim Station to Nyx Gateway: Buy Helium

Start at Seraphim Station.

Go to the Galleria admin terminal and buy Helium. In our run, we moved 312 SCU and made 174,378 aUEC profit.

Use autoloading here if the timer is reasonable. This leg is clean, easy, and low-effort.

Before leaving, avoid flying a direct line to Nyx Gateway.

Safer route:

1. Quantum toward another marker.

2. Cancel quantum after a short distance.

3. Set route to Nyx Gateway.

4. Continue from the offset position.

This matters because direct trade lines are where pirates expect lazy haulers.

2. Nyx Gateway to Everus Harbor: Buy Mercury

At Nyx Gateway, sell the Helium and buy Mercury.

This is the weakest profit-per-SCU leg in the loop, but it keeps the route moving.

CommoditySCUProfitProfit / SCU
Mercury 512133,887 aUEC 261

Do not overthink this leg. Treat it as a bridge to Everus Harbor, where the Iron trade becomes the real money.

If Mercury margins look bad at the terminal, reduce the load or skip heavy investment.

3. Everus Harbor to Terra Gateway: Buy Iron

At Everus Harbor, buy Iron.

This is the best leg in the loop by profit density.

CommoditySCUProfitProfit / SCU
Iron 192161,510 aUEC841

If your cargo space or capital is limited, prioritize this leg. It gives the best return per SCU.

This is also where we recommend being extra careful. High-value cargo in a predictable lane is exactly what pirates want.

Use an indirect quantum route again.

4. Terra Gateway to Baijini Point: Buy Hydrogen

At Terra Gateway, sell Iron and buy Hydrogen.

This leg made 179,794 aUEC on 512 SCU.

The catch is loading time. In our run, autoloading showed around 13 minutes. Manual loading from an external freight elevator took about 5 minutes.

Loading ChoiceUse It When
Autoload You are stepping away
Manual load You want faster profit per hour

If you are actively playing, manual load Hydrogen here. The time save is worth it.

If you are running this as a true semi-AFK loop, autoload and go do something else.

5. Baijini Point to Seraphim Station: Buy Silicon

At Baijini Point, sell Hydrogen and buy Silicon.

This was the biggest single profit leg in our run:

CommoditySCUProfitProfit / SCU
Silicon 448234,656 aUEC 524

Fly back to Seraphim Station, sell the Silicon, and the loop resets.

That is what makes this route strong. You finish exactly where you need to start again.

Best Commodities Ranked by Profit per SCU

If you are using a smaller ship, do not copy the full route blindly. Focus on the best profit density.

RankRouteCommodityProfit / SCU
1 Everus Harbor → Terra GatewayIron841
2 Seraphim Station → Nyx GatewayHelium 559
3 Baijini Point → Seraphim StationSilicon 524
4 Terra Gateway → Baijini PointHydrogen 351
5 Nyx Gateway → Everus HarborMercury 261

Small ship rule: prioritize Iron, Helium, and Silicon first.

Mercury is filler. Hydrogen is fine. Iron is the money leg.

Autoload vs Manual Loading

Autoloading is what makes this route AFK-friendly. Manual loading is what makes it faster.

Use the right tool for the moment.

SituationBest Choice
Short autoload timerAutoload
Long autoload timerManual load
You are watching a show or stepping awayAutoload
You are focused on aUEC/hourManual load
External freight elevator is convenientManual load

The main practical rule: check the timer before committing.

If autoloading is only a few minutes, take it. If it is 10+ minutes, consider loading manually.

Pirate Safety Rules for Stanton Cargo Hauling

This loop is safer than outpost hauling, but it is not risk-free. You are still moving paid cargo through known routes.

Follow these rules every run:

  • Never fly predictable direct lines with expensive cargo.
  • Use offset quantum jumps.
  • Watch for suspicious ships near stations.
  • Do not linger outside hangars.
  • Store your ship before selling if needed.
  • Never invest your entire balance into one load.

If you see red contacts, odd player movement, or ships camping common approach paths, leave and reset. Cargo profit means nothing if the load gets deleted.

FAQ

Is this Star Citizen commodity loop actually AFK?

It is semi-AFK, not fully AFK.

You still need to buy cargo, manage loading, set quantum routes, land, and sell. The downtime comes from quantum travel and autoload timers.

In our run, only about 25 minutes required active input.

How much money does this Stanton cargo loop make?

Our full loop made 884,225 aUEC in about 75 minutes.

That works out to roughly 707K aUEC per elapsed hour, depending on server performance, loading choices, and commodity margins.

What is the best commodity in this route?

Iron is the best by profit per SCU.

The tested Iron leg from Everus Harbor to Terra Gateway made 841 aUEC per SCU, which beats every other commodity in this loop.

Should I use autoloading or manual loading?

Use autoloading when you want low effort.

Use manual loading when autoload timers are long. At Terra Gateway, Hydrogen autoloading took about 13 minutes, while manual loading took about 5 minutes.

That one decision can noticeably improve profit per hour.

How do I avoid pirates while cargo hauling?

Do not fly direct routes.

Quantum toward another marker, cancel mid-route, then redirect to your real destination. This creates an offset path and makes interception harder.

Also avoid lingering outside stations. Land, store, sell, move on.

Summary

This Star Citizen AFK commodity loop is built for haulers who want strong profit with low attention. The tested route earned 884,225 aUEC in about 75 minutes, using a station-based Stanton loop:

RouteCargo
Seraphim Station → Nyx GatewayHelium
Nyx Gateway → Everus HarborMercury
Everus Harbor → Terra GatewayIron
Terra Gateway → Baijini PointHydrogen
Baijini Point → Seraphim StationSilicon

Best profit density: Iron.

Best single-leg profit: Silicon.

Best safety habit: indirect quantum routing.

Best time saver: manual load when autoload timers are bad.

Run it clean, keep reserve cash, avoid straight-line routes, and this loop becomes a reliable semi-AFK money maker in Stanton.
