MH Wilds: Decorations and Artian Weapon Fragments Best Farming Methods

In MH Wilds, Farming Decorations and Artian weapon fragments can take many hours of your free time especially if you don't know what the optimal strategy is. But don't worry, after a lot of tests and optimizations, we able to develop strategies that would allow players to easily earn gold tickets, decorations of any type and even weapon fragments.

Overview

This guide is aimed at players who are finding it difficult to consistently farm Decorations or fragments of Artian weapon. It will save them countless hours of playing the game needlessly optimizing these tasks. The goal of this guide is to enable players to effortlessly:

  • Earn Gold Tickets to spend on Decorations or weapon fragments.
  • Farm Nightflow Pollen, Wyvern Coins and many of the other important resources.
  • Decide if they want active or passive strategies based on their time.

1. Updated Pollen Farm

Despite the nerfs that have reduced the bloom rate of Nightflow Pollen, it is still a viable resource for farming. While the more active Nightflow Pollen farming is less efficient now, it provides some value to players who prefer passive farming or multitasking.

Step Action Tips
1 Rest at your camp and set the time to evening Ensure you do not set it to night time directly, as this will not set off the flower blooming cycle
2 Save and quit the game completely You may log into whichever server you wish. Private lobbies are preferred
3 Fetch the pollens at area 3 where your original Nightflow Pollen camp is located You will have to wait for approximately 7 minutes and 30 seconds for the flowers to bloom
4 Collect the pollen and fast travel to area 9 then head to area 10 for the second flower location Ensure you are quick in between gathering locations to save time
5 Check if Sea has any items worth trading at Wiard's base camp Ensure you trade items for gold melding or relic tickets before starting the loop from step 1

Note:

The simplicity of this approach makes it great for farming passively while indulging in other endeavors not related to the game. Keep in mind that the flowers only bloom when there is a full moon, but optional quests that do not impact the flower's bloom do exist.

Optional Quests Overview

2. Wyvern Coins and Pollen Farm

This is a fantastic method for players who want to farm efficiently without dedicating excessive time to a single resource. It is a combination of farming Wyvern Coins and gathering Nightflower Pollen, thus enabling you to collect a slew of valuable items in a single trip. Furthermore, these items can be exchanged for Golden Tickets which are critical for earning Decorations and Relics.

Wyvern Coins and Pollen Farming Overview

Preparation Checklist

Ensure the following before commencing to this method:

  1. Skills: Equip a farming build with Geology and Botany level 3.
  2. Campsites: Unlock the following campsites for fast travel:
    • Area 8 – Underground Lake
    • Area 12 – Northeast Camp
    • Area 6 – Flowering Rock
    • Area 16 – Hidden Waterfall Camp
    • Area 18 – Sinkhole Camp
    • Area 15 – Upper Corridor Camp
    • Area 14 – Mining Cave Camp
    • Area 3 – South Camp
  3. Game Settings: Set the weather to "Plenty" and time to "Evening".  You can set these values by fast traveling to your base camp in Scarlet Forest. Save and quit your game before starting a private lobby.

Farming Route With Steps:

Step Location Action
1 Area 8 (Underground Lake) Capture a Curio Shell Crab at the fishing location. Use your grappling hook to get to the other side of the lake for a Wyvern Coin. Climb the vines to the Wyvern's Nest for a third coin.
2 Area 12 (Northeast Camp) Grab the Glass Alga and Wyvern Coin from the submerged location. Turn around and go into the concealed cave located behind the waterfall.
3 Area 6 (Flowering Rock) Capturing the crab at the pond or using the grappling hook trick for gathering Glass Alga and the nearby coins works too.
4 Area 16 (Hidden Waterfall Camp) Get the crab at Wood's Resting Quarters. If crafting materials are essential for you, collect some Mandora.
5 Area 18 (Sinkhole Camp) Go to the nearby hole at the ice shard cliffs to get another crab.
6 Area 15 (Upper Corridor Camp) Go up the spiral staircase until you reach the upper level. One crab is located there.
7 Area 14 (Mining Cave Camp) Capture another crab along the Wyvern Milk source area in this tournament. Moving all the way through the tunnel is the first step.
8 Area 3 (South Camp) After completing the coin route, Nightflower Pollen can now be gathered.

Notes:

  • Master Grappling Techniques: During grappling, you should be able to gather materials closeby using the L2 button and the directional buttons, which will be more efficient. It will save significant time.
  • Account For RNG: Due to RNG some crabs may not appear, but the spawn rate is usually the same across runs. So, If a crab has not spawned, just stick to the route.
  • Combine Runs: You will be able to collect Wyvern Coins first, and by the time you have gathered them Nightflower Pollen will be ready, creating an efficient run.

Resource Gains Per Run:

Resource Quantity (Per Run)
Nightflower Pollen Up to 2
Wyvern Coins Up to 12
Glass Alga Multiple

Loading will take about ten minutes for each run. In an hour's worth of non-stop farming, you should have:

  1. 12 Nightflower Pollen
  2. 60-72 Wyvern Coins
  3. A good amount of Glass Alga

These resources yield Golden Tickets, which can be spent on various decorations, relics, and other important items.

3. High-Level SOS Hunting

High-Level SOS Hunting is the act of joining (or even hosting) SOS Quests that have tempered monsters as bosses and often have dual-monster two objectives. These quests are famous for reward rates, and can offer from a whopping 10 Decorations or 14 Ancient Weapon Fragments in a singular run.

Hunting Rewards Overview

Pros and Cons:

  • + High Rewards: Can have some of the best rewards per quest offer like two 14 Artisan Fragments.
  • + Hunter Rank Progression: Provides the best way to rapidly increase your Hunter Rank.
  • + Engaging Gameplay: Fighting tempered monsters is entertaining as well as challenging.
  • + Resource Farming: Permits the gathering of rare resources like Arc Gems and heavy armor spheres.
  • - Hign Demands: Popular quests , which are frequently searched, get filled up quickly and result in unnecessary gets of page reloads and time.
  • - Potential Quest Failure: Dual-monster quests' subordinate challenges and a single party's fail because of lack of coordination attempt.
  • - Time Intensive: These quests, while rewarding, can often take longer than other methods to complete.

How It Works?

  1. Look for an SOS Quest : Go to the temperate QRD page in the SOS page and filter to dual-monster quests featuring two monsters. Prioritize these dual-monster quests as they offer better rewards.
  2. Join the Quest: Pick up the appropriate level quest according to your schedule. Get ready, because high demand quests tend to fill up quickly and need constant page refreshing.
  3. Hunt Efficiently: Make sure you and your party maximise the amount of monsters you defeat together. For most groups, the average time to complete these quests is 7-10 minutes, depending on the attitude of the party.
  4. Make Claim to The Rewards: After successful completion, the player gets a large amount of Decorations and free Artisan Fragments.

Select the method that best aligns with your goals and goals. For laidback players, the Updated Pollen Farm is perfect; active users may lean toward the Wyvern Coin paths, as well as High Level SOS Hunting for optimal payouts.
