Strategies to Fight Monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds:
Before trying to take on stronger monsters, make sure your weapons and gear are in top shape. Make sure to check the main element of the monster and arm yourself accordingly.
Item Management
Bombs and Traps: Bring shock traps or snares and barrel bombs as they can disable or destroy your enemies in large quantities.
Healing and Buffs: Use potions or super potions for healing. However, it is better to use demonic potions and armor skins for buffs.
Dodge Skills and Positioning
Dodge: Give yourself a second or two before dodging an attack.
Face an Attack: Always melee and reposition yourself to prevent being attacked.
Dodge and Crouch Clear: Allows you to dodge and glide while engaging while rolling to clear obstacles without risking getting caught.
Use the Surroundings
Springboards: Monsters act as springboards to jump from and can be easily ridden on so that they can be stepped on.
Ledges: Monsters turn into controllable stones that are placed on ledges, allowing you to use them as springs between your Skeleton Assist harness.
Environmental Weapons: Rocks can be shattered and mountains become controllable areas of destruction.
Teamwork
Strategic Coordination: Players coordinate with teammates to set traps, enable each other's healing spells, and overlap each other's attacks and spells on monsters.
Role Setup: Allows one character to focus entirely on dealing damage while a second character focuses on support, resulting in a greater effect overall.
