Monster Hunter Wilds Resource Seed Fast Farming Guides

Step 1: Getting Ready to Start Farming

To start getting more seeds, oil is needed first so course all your stations to the Oil Well Basin. It's a very good area for getting valuable resources and is the main focus of your farming approach.

North Camp (located in the 15th area lower strata North)

Canyon area which is scrubbed in area 1 and 2

While the first camp is lower to the Strata North, it is does risk additional damage from the environment but serves as good for the amout of time spent farming seeds.

Step 2: Gathering Might Seeds in Oil Well Basin

Once you reach the Oil Well Basin, follow the instructions below to gather might seeds:

Lower Strata North Camp (Area 15)

Proceed to Lower Strata North Camp.

Search for and capture the might seed on the border of the camp.

Go to the neighboring area and fetch the second might seed.

Canyon Divide (Top Level, Area 1/2)

Check your map and head to the top level of the Oil Well Basin.

Move to the Canyon Divide located in Area 1 (more like Area 2).

Check out the small room in this area where two might seeds are located:

The first seed can be found at the mouth of the cave.

The second seed can be found at the ledge in the wide space.

Step 3: Reset the Instance for Might Seed Farming

To farm might seeds in abundance, you need to reset the zone as an instance. To do this:

After collecting might seeds from both the Lower Strata North and Canyon Divide, speak with Alma at your base camp.

From the dialogue options presented, choose Optional Quest from Alma's menu.

Find a quest with Basin in its title under the second tab, for example, Basin Top Right.

Proceed with the quest, setting your starting location to Area 15 (Lower Strata North).

Doing so forces the game to refresh the zone as a new instance, re-supplying all gatherable resources, including might seeds.

Step 4: Continue Farming Seeds

After completing the quest and gathering might seeds once more:

Exit the quest, which will automatically place you back at the Oil Well Basin base camp.

Use fast travel to go to Area 15 (Lower Strata North Camp).

Follow the rest of the steps:

Gather seeds from Lower Strata North.

Gather seeds from Canyon Divide.

Initiate another instance-resetting quest.

You do not need to rely on the standard 15-minute reset timer.

More Notes

Single Player vs Multiplayer: This strategy is effective in single-player mode, but in multiplayer mode, it depends on how instances are managed.

Warm Up Exercises: As with many other zones, Lower Strata North Camp is surrounded by dangers that you need to be aware of while farming in this area.
